"I don't get it-- what does this have to do with Derek?" Cora asks us.

He's talking about Ennis so really it doesn't have anything to do with Derek.

"Everything." Peter says.

"It's never just a single moment; it's a confluence of events. Personally, I looked at Ennis' circumstances, and I saw a profound loss. Derek saw something different. He saw opportunity." Peter explains.

"Opportunity? To do what?" Stiles asks confused.

"To always be with her." Peter says seriously.

Oh no does the mean what I think it means.

"What are you staring at?" Paige asks me as she tries to practice.

"I'm not staring. I'm listening." I tell her.

She goes to back to what she was doing.

"Am I distracting you?" I smirk.

She smiles. "No. I've got laser-like focus."

I walk closer to her and lean down to whisper in her ear. "You sure about that?"

I start to kiss her ear lightly. My breath fanning across her face.

"I hate you." She tells me.

"No, you don't. You love me." I smile.

"Hate you." She whispers.

"You love me." I tell her again.

Then I kiss her. Passionately.

"The thing was, he had this constant fear. He was obsessing over it, thinking about it all night, all day-- always on his mind."

"Why does she eat alone?" Peter asks me as I try to enjoy my lunch.

I have no idea why he's here. He's not in school anymore.

"What are you doing here?" I ask him annoyed.

"I'm looking out for my favorite
nephew! Making sure no one has a crossbow aimed at your throat." He jokes.

"I could get you banned from school grounds. You know that, right?" I ask him.

He scoffs. "No one would ban me from anywhere-- I'm too good-looking."

Ha. He wishes.

"Doesn't she have any friends?" He asks me.

I turn to see he's looking at Paige.

I shrug. "A few, but she likes to study during lunch, and I kind of just don't think she likes my friends.."

"No one should like your friends-- they're a bunch of hormonal half-wits! But that one over there?" He points at my girl.
