"Just because you're my first choice doesn't mean you're my only choice, baby boy."

—Tuesday / 6:15 am

A continuous beeping wakes me up slowly. "Fuck." I groan tapping the snooze button. "Eddie? What are you doing?" I lift my head slowly.

"Waiting for you dumbass. Come on get up." He chuckles closing my door gently.

I grab my stuff for taking a shower.

—6:25 am

I slide my shirt on and open the door to my room. "We have extra time if you wanna eat." Ben smiles. I nod grabbing a bowl and some cereal.

"Good job hon. You won't be late." Beverly snickers.

—6:34 am

We walk into the hallways. It's usually quiet but I enjoy the quietness. "See you later." Ben and Beverly walk away.

"Hiya Eds." "Go away, Richie." The tall one pulls Eddie away. Making him squeal.

"Well, shit today must be a good day." I open my locker first try. "Boo." A semi-deep voice makes me jump.

"Fuck Bill." I rest my head on my backpack. "How are ya, babe?" "I'm fine. Also, quit calling me that." "What do you want me to call you? Hot stuff? Doll?...Baby boy?" He cups my chin, pulling our faces close.

My breathing hitched at the last one. "Just call me by my first name." "Nah...baby boy works absolutely fine."

I stay silent as he lets go of my chin. "Ah. My hoodie, you brought it. Thanks." He smirks gently pulling it away and walking away.

I close my mouth finally. "That was horrible." I lean my head onto the locker door. "Yeah, and you're cheeks are red." Mike chuckles leaning his back onto the lockers to my left.

"What happened?" "I told him dot stop calling me babe. Now he's gonna call me baby boy." I sigh grabbing my books.

"Oh wow. He's never used that one." We both walk into our first class. "Seems like it...is-. Is that his hoodie?" Mike glances over to a boy who smiles brightly.

"Yeah..." "Oh...Okay." I shrug gently before sitting down.

—Tuesday / Lunch

"Yeah...he's calling me baby boy now." My cheeks begin to heat up as I pinch the bridge of my nose.

"Hey, baby boy." He breathes down my neck, sitting beside me slowly. "Bill..." I sigh as the goosebumps go away.

He plants his hand on my thigh while speaking to Eddie. Not talking. Flirting. Eddies cheeks heat up. I slightly laugh at his reaction.

"I uh...I saw someone else wearing your hoodie." I mumble. "Huh? Oh yeah. Chris? I don't know." He begins to talk to Eddie before stopping completely.

"Why are you worried about it? Are you jealous?" "No...no. Just very observant."

"Just because you're my first choice doesn't mean you're my only choice, baby boy." He whispers the last part into my ear sending chills down my spine.

"Mmmh." I look away. "You like that don't you?" He inches closer. I shake my head. "Don't lie." He turns my face toward him. Of course, he smiles when he sees how red my face is.
