Davian's Pov

"Davian, can I talk with you?" I stiffened. Alam ko kung kanino galing yung boses na yun. Hindi ko inaasahan nandito siya, sobra ko atang lutang hindi ko na napansin na may pumasok na pala.

I turned around to face the person behind me. Hindi pa rin siya nagbabago, he still has the same boring hairstyle. Don't get me started with his annoying grin. "What are you doing here?" He raised a brow.

"Nakalimutan mo na ba, Davian? Oh, it must have slipped my mind, nagka-amnesia ka nga pala. Kawawang, Alannis. Stuck with a manipulative boyfriend." He smirked, mas lalo akong nainis.

"Just answer my question, what are you doing here?"

"Wait, are you telling me you haven't told her? Too much secrets, Alcaraz. Aren't you afraid that may ruin your relationship with her? Or if there's even a relationship to begin with." Ikinuyom ko ang kamao ko.

"Do you want me to expose you? Do you want me to tell her the truth, Alcaraz? I really pity Alannis, she ended up with someone like you. You're even pretending that you remembered her." He smirked, alam niyang nagpipigil lang ako.

"Well, I actually did her a favor..." Kumunot naman ang noo ko sa sinabi niya.

What does he mean? What favor? "Oh? I'm sorry...You thought Alannis getting hit by a car was an accident?" I punched in his face, I heard enough. Kahit dumudugo yung ilong at bibig niya he still managed to smirk.

"Just leave." I roared at him. He wiped off the blood on his lips and nose before standing up.

"Alam mo, lahat ng bagay ay nakukuha ko." He left without saying another word. Nanghina bigla ang tuhod ko. Napatingin ako kay Alannis na mahimbing na natutulog. Dahan-dahan akong lumapit sa kanya as I caressed her hair.

"Alannis, I'm sorry...I'm so sorry..." I held her hand and squeezed it a bit.

"T-This...this is all my fault.... I'm so sorry."

"He really did come here, huh?" I turned around at nakita ko si Benj na may dala-dalang gamit. Kumunot naman ang noo ko.

"H-He did...Natatakot ako Benj."

"Davian, wag mo intindihin masyado yung pinagsasabi ng panget na yun. Puro salita lang naman yun."

"Ako naman ang magbabantay kay Alannis, look at yourself. You don't have enough rest." Napansin ko nga na may backpack siyang dala.

"Pero Benj-"

"Davian. I'll make sure to call you when something happens for now take a good rest. Maligo ka na din, mabaho ka na." Napairap naman ako.

"Fine." Benj tapped my shoulder bago ako labas ng kwarto. He also gave me the keys to my car.

Pagkadating ko sa condo ay agad ko hinagis ang sarili sa kama. Nagising ako sa tunog ng phone ko kaya agad ko eto sinagot. Napakunot naman ang noo ko ng makita kung ilan ang missed calls ni Benj sa akin. How lang have I been asleep?

"Akala ko kung ano na nangyari sa'yo eh."

"Ano ba yun Benj? May problema ba diyan?"

"Alannis had another seizure..." I felt my heart dropped. I fell on my knees at naramdaman ang nagbabadyang luha.

"What?...Pupunta ako diyan." My voice cracked; I covered my face using my other hand.

Ali, please....

Stop scaring us...

"She's stable now...Did you get enough sleep? Kumain ka muna bago ka bumalik dito." I sighed.
