"Hi, Ali."

"You....You're my stalker?" Nauutal kong wika. Hindi pa rin nagsisink-in sa utak ko na nasa harapan ko na ang stalker ko at isa siya sa mga taong pinagkakatiwalaan ko.

"Surprised?" He grinned, naramdaman ko ang pagtulo ng mga luha ko. Hindi ko inaasahan na sa lahat ng tao ay bakit siya pa. "Why Brent?"

"You know that I love you, right? I did everything for you and yet, you still choose your ex?"

There was a hint of pain and sadness in his voice. Hindi ko alam ang mga dapat kong sabihin sa kanya. Hindi pa ma-process ng utak ko na siya ang stalker ko.

"It's because I love him, and I know that he loves me too. The kind of love that I want."

"I also love you, but why can't you return the love? I can give you twice as the love he gives you. I can give you everything, I can treat you better."

"It's simply because you're not Davian. There's a reason why I love him, and why I didn't choose you."

"But why choose the person who broke your heart?" He may have broken my heart but he proved to me that he's worth the chance.

"When you love someone, there will come a time, where your heart will get broken. My love for him is stronger than any heartbreak."

"I thought I had a chance."

"I'm sorry, but I made it clear to you that I'll try and I've been very transparent with you, I just can't."

"If I can't have you, no one will." His aura darkened, nakaramdam ako ng matinding takot sa kanya. Agad akong itinago ni Max sa likuran niya.

"You really want to get hurt, Max?"

"As long as I protect Alannis, I'm willing to die."

"Die? You'll sacrifice your life for a girl who can't reciprocate your feelings?"

"I'm not like you, Brent. My love for Alannis is not selfish, she's already happy with Davian and I know that I can't give her that kind of love and happiness. And, Alannis is worth dying for."

"If you say so, your wish is my command." Kinuwelyuhan ni Brent si Max aakmang lalapit ako para tulungan si Max ay tinutukan naman ako ng baril ni Brent.

"Please, don't hurt him."

"Don't worry, This won't hurt that much." I flinched when Brent punched Max hard.

"Max!" Hindi ko alam ang dapat kong gawin, nanginginig ako sa takot.

"Alannis, just close your eyes." Kahit nag-aalinlangan ako ay pumikit nalang ako. Nag-flinch ako sa tuwing may naririnig akong tunog. Naririnig ko ang mga sigaw at daing ni Max at ang sakit neto sa pandinig at sa puso ko.

"Please, stop." I cried. Dahan-dahan ko eto tinanggal. Naninikip ang dibdib ko ng makita ang itsura ni Max ngayon. Hindi na ako makapagtimpi, I have to do something.

"Sa'kin ka galit diba? Ako ang saktan mo!"

I know he can understand me well, kahit magtagalog ako. Lumuhod siya sa harapan ko at marahas na hinawakan ang mukha ko bago ngumisi.

"Don't worry, Alannis. You're next, wait for your turn." Nagkuyom ang mga kamao ko.

"Demonyo ka! Demonyo ka..." at this point, wala na akong pakialam kung naiintidihan niya ako o hindi. Inalis niya na ang kamay niya sa mukha ko bago umalis at muling nilapitan si Max. Malakas niya etong sinampal at napapikit nalang ako.
