Seeing Alex alive was like an illusion. Just seeing her face felt like an illusion. But she was there. She was standing just a couple of feet in front of him. She was even more beautiful than the first time he saw her. But her eyes didn't have that spark.
"Alex" he whispered.
She didn't respond.
Thomas stepped forward, put his hands out to her.
''You're alive...'' He breathed out.
''No! Get. Away. From. Me''
Thomas stopped-it felt a hundred bricks. He was speechless.
"What...what are you talking about? It's me! Thomas. I-"
"I've never seen you before in my life. I have no idea who you are...'' She spat cutting him off. And he knew that she was telling the truth. He didn't saw any recognition in her eyes, and he saw that she had forgotten him.
''No!'' Now it was his turn to scream. ''Don't act like you don't know me!'' Tears now welling in his eyes. Thomas had never hurt so badly. ''Look, I don't know what's happened or what they did to you but-''
He crossed the room and wrapped his arms around her and squeezed, embracing her so tightly.
''You're not leaving again...'' And then they were kissing.
