"Azul! Azul ang color ng brief ni Azul! Nyenye!"

I frowned at my female classmate, Jianne Rhed. The other girls giggled with her as they flocked to my table.

Our break time just started and they're already here to pester me like the usual. I frowned more as I glanced over my shoulder to see if it's true.

But then I realized, Moma gave me a red underwear. I laughed kasi may naisip na response doon.

"That's bad. Bakit ka naninilip sa akin, ha, Jianne?"

"Yieee!" the class teased.

Jianne's face flushed. "Inaasar lang kita kasi hindi mo ako nipansin kahapon! Pero kay Shea, you talked to her!"

"Nagtanong lang kaya ako ng assignments kay Azul," Ember Shea told her.

Actually, Papa has told me about girls. Sabi niya, hindi daw maganda ang nang-aaway at pumapatol sa girls kasi dapat, may respect lagi.

Like Moma, Papa said what if someone hurt her, what would I feel? I would feel sad and angry of course. It would feel the same way din daw sa iba kapag nakita nila na 'yung girl na aawayin ko, masasaktan.

Alright, then fine. I sighed.

"'Wag niyo na asarin si Jianne!" I tapped my desk to get their attention.

Nakaupo na kasi siya sahig tapos nakatungo sa braso niya. She's with Ember Shea and Maebelline. Her friends.

Because of that, she raised her head to look at me. Her face looked terrifying because she was glaring at me.

"Don't be mad. I won't tease you again," I said to her.

"Oo nga. Mag-recess na lang tayo! Ililibre mo kami, 'di ba, Azul?" sabi ni Maebelline sabay hawak sa braso ko.

I nodded. The class cheered for it, but I scratched my temple because Jianne's still not standing. Then I remembered what I recalled a while ago.

"My underwear is not blue, okay? It's red," I frowned.

"Ano?!" Tumayo na siya. I knew it!

I laughed and nodded to her. "It's your name! It's not Azul because it's Rhed, Jianne Rhed! Pero hindi ko ipapakita kasi bad 'yon!"

I giggled. 'Wag ka na magalit kasi kapangalan mo naman iyong totoong color ng underwear ko! Pervert girl. Psh.

After that, we went altogether to our cafeteria. Kapag may schoolmates kami na nakakakita sa amin, lumalapit sila at sumasabay na lang din sa paglalakad.

"Ikwento mo ulit sa amin, Azul, 'yung nangyari dati nung baby ka pa lang! Gusto ko 'yon!" Shea suggested excitedly when we found our table.

"Kaya nga. Lagi sa aking sinasabi ni Mommy 'yon, e. Super galing daw kasi parang magic talaga," sabi naman ni Maebelline.

Jianne sat beside me and pouted. Is she still upset? Hmm.

"Because she's Mama's bestfriend," sang-ayon ko kay Maebelline.

Her mother is Tita Bianca, one of Moma's long time bestfriends so we're close with their family, too.

My story when I was a baby is quite long and complicated to tell but sharing it to others is my pleasure. That's because it's my most favorite story of all. Every time Moma and Papa reminisce about it, it feels like I witnessed it with my own eyes because they are full of emotions whenever they do. I won't get tired of listening and sharing my story. It feels good to know that I am part of a tremendous change in our home.
