Hello! It's been a while. I'm very sorry for the late update. Tons of problems surfaced so I had to delay this update.

Supposedly, this is a long chapter containing 12k+ words. But I decided to split it into two parts so we can maximize the capacity. Also, please be aware that slow updates are coming.

But don't worry! TWTTM is almost at its edge. Hindi na ito lalagpas pa ng 50 chapters. 45 chapters plus Epilogue is my goal. And aside from that, updates are getting spicier. Especially Epiphany and Chapter 38!

I hope some of your remaining questions will be sated through reading today's double update. Thank you for your patience and unending support. I appreciate them a lot! 🥺 Well then, enjoy reading and good luck to all of us!

Chapter 36

Epiphany (Part 1)

I can't believe this is happening. This thick faced moron. This fake douchebag who is supposed to be a dotard in nature is now in front of me.

"D-Duke?" I coated my face with a startled facade.

The view of him smiling in relief disgusts the hell out of me. I gnashed my teeth and gripped on my phone tighter.

I should've fucking known.

What's his motive? He wants to repeat the history? But this time, using me?

Fuck him! Pare-pareho lang sila! Nakakadiri! Nakakasulasok!

I can't believe that I let myself be fooled by this good for nothing fossil!

I can't imagine that... I just sold my soul to the devil. For that brief moment, I asked myself.

What is my worth now? By that, the remaining light in my life was overshadowed by darkness.

But somewhere in my heart tells me that the personal visions I have established for three years are not likely to occur just because of my capricious actions.

"How are you doing? It must be exhausting dealing with people you despise, Yen."

Right. Where did my cockiness and ego lead me?

Seeing him face to face after knowing the truth, everything latched onto me just now. And... I don't know... But he suddenly appeared as a living reminder of how pathetic I have become.

"So this is what you've become."

My shoulders drooped as I heard that brazen voice in my head. I shivered.

"I know that feeling more than anyone, Yen. The people you treated as a family... looking down on you. But they're wrong. Because you deserve every love and happiness the world has to offer, for you are way more than what they see. And for me, you are everything, Yen."
