"What's with you two?" Hyunsuk asked as he sat beside me.

"Why do you look so awkward?" I looked at Asahi who's picking on his food. He's been ignoring me since my confession earlier.

"Uh... do you want to have a sleepover in my condo later?"

I looked at the three guys when I asked and they all nodded excitedly.

I just feel like their presence will be a great help for the two of us, otherwise it will get too awkward.

"They can't." My eyes widened as I looked at Asahi.

But why?

"You're alone. You can't invite them."

"But you stay at her condo." Junkyu told him.

Asahi stood up and held his tray with both of his hands.

"I'm going back to my condo."

What? Is it because of my confession?

"We can still have a sleepover even he goes back to your condo, Areum. It's not like we'll do somethi-"

"There's no sleepover." Asahi glared at Hyunsuk which made him chuckle.

"Why? We're Areum's friends too, right? You even lived on her condo so why can't we have a sleepover?"

"Hyu-Hyunsuk..." I held Hyunsuk's hand because he was about to stand up.

"Asahi, if this is about what I told you earlier, let's tal-"

"Stop, Areum. I'm still surprised." Asahi looked at me but immediately avoided my gaze. I walked towards him but he walked backwards, avoiding me.

"I... don't want to talk about it... I'll just... take that as a joke."

A joke? He'll think that my confession is just a damn joke? I... It took me so long to confess!

"You're too selfish, Asahi."

I can feel my tears flow on my cheeks. Asahi looked at me and I can see that he looked surprised.

"I didn't know that loving you would hurt me this much." Asahi placed back his tray on the table and walked towards me.

"That's why you should stop." I shook my head which made him sigh.

"I didn't know that it would hurt me so much, but I also don't know how to stop it.

If I could, then I would've done it earlier, Asahi."

I can't even remember how many times I tried to forget my feelings for him. Even before Yena and Asahi started to date, I already tried to forget my feelings for him countless times.

"Then I will help you." I turned around and saw Asahi's brother.

He started to walk towards me and held my face with both of his hands, making me surprised.

"Asa-" He suddenly kissed me and I heard the people around us whispering.

Why? Why is this happening?

I tried to push him away but he just kissed me harder. I didn't notice that he was wiping my tears with his thumb as he stopped kissing me.

My eyes widened when I saw Asahi's fist landing on Asao's face.

"Asahi!" I tried to pull him away as he continued to punch Asao who's already on the ground.

He suddenly pushed me which made me lose my balance.

"Areum!" I felt a sharp pain on the back of my head and the last thing I heard is Hyunsuk's voice as he called me by my name.

Why are things getting so complicated?
