Areum's POV

"Do you have any idea about where he could be?" Junkyu shook his head and he noticed the car waiting for me.

All of the people are looking at me and I saw my mother and father running towards me. I signaled Jihoon and the others to go ahead without me and I'll find a way to see Hyunsuk.

"AREUM!" My mother held my arm so tightly that it made me flinch in pain.

"Mo-Mom it hur-" I felt a sharp pain on my cheeks and the people around me started to whisper.

"LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID! WHY DID YOU RUNAWAY?!" My dad was stopping her from hurting me further.

"I don't love him!" The whispers around us became louder. I can hear them saying how heartless I am.

"I just want to be with someone I love, Mom." Her sharp eyes pierced looked straight into mine and I felt scared.

"Areum, go on. I can handle this. Junkyu please help her find Hyunsuk." My mother tried to remove my father's grip on her but she failed to do so.

"Are you going to let your daughter be a disappointment?! Are you stupid?!"

"That's right I'm stupid! Letting her choose someone she really loves won't make her a disappointment!"

My mother suddenly stopped moving and tears came out of my father's eyes.

"You know very well how it feels like to get married to someone you don't love and you're going to let your child experience it?!"

My mom started to cry and she glared at me. She walked away from us and my father tapped Junkyu's back then went after my mother.

"Areum let's go. I know where Hyunsuk hyung is."

"How?"

"Your necklace, he currently have it and... he's at Asahi's condo." My eyes widened and I started to panic.

What if he hurt Asahi?!

"Let's go, Areum." I nodded at Junkyu and followed him as he walked to his car. We went inside and Junkyu started to drive towards Asahi's condo.

I also texted to Jihoon about where Hyunsuk is but he told me that he discovered about where Hyunsuk is by the necklace.

After 15 minutes, we arrived at Asahi's condo and I saw Jiwon's car and Jihoon went out of it.

"Jihoon! I'm glad your here!" Junkyu told him and Jihoon nodded.

"How about the others?" I whispered at Jihoon and he answered me.

"They'll follow us without Junkyu knowing."

"What about me? What are you guys talking about?" We just shook our head and Junkyu furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

We went straight to the floor where Asahi's condo is. We were about to open the door but we suddenly heard a loud scream and a gunshot.

Jihoon immediately opened the door and I saw Hyunsuk standing while holding a gun and Asahi is sitting on the floor.

My tears began to fall as I ran towards Asahi and stood in front of him. It seems like his first shot was missed on purpose.

"Areum, move over." Hyunsuk told me while the gun is still pointed towards Asahi.

"A-Areum..." I heard Asahi's voice and I knelt down to meet his face. It's covered in blood.

"Hyu-Hyunsuk just tell me what you want! Just please don't hurt him!"

"I want him dead. So all of your attention would be mine."

He cocked the gun and pointed it towards Asahi. I closed my eyes and hugged Asahi tightly.

"HYUNG NO!!!"
