Areum's POV

"HYUNG NO!!!" It was the last thing I heard  before I heard the gunshot. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Asahi with his eyes wide opened.

"Ji-Jihoon!" My heart started to beat faster as I felt something land on my back. I looked behind me and saw Jihoon...

Catching his breath.

Hyunsuk's eyes widened and he immediately knelt down and tried to make Jihoon conscious.

"Ya-Yah! Park Jihoon! What-What's wrong?!" I saw Junkyu crying as he walked towards us.

Hyunsuk hugged Jihoon and he suddenly started to talk.

"Hyu-Hyunsuk hyung..." All of us were crying as Jihoon tried to talk. His eyes slowly opened as blood was flowing out of his mouth. The gunshot wound on his lower abdomen is bleeding hard.

"Tha-Thank you for... talking to me... fo-for... be-being my friend..."

"No Jihoon! Don't talk! I-I'll go get an ambulance!" Jihoon tried to reach for Hyunsuk's face with his hands covered in blood but he was too weak to do so.

Hyunsuk grabbed his hand and placed it on his cheeks.

"A-Asahi... Junkyu... Hyunsuk hyung... Tha-Thank you for be-being my friend... despite... my secretiveness..."

Hyunsuk started to panic as Jihoon slowly closed his eyes. Jihoon's breathing continued to slow down.

Just when his eyes completely closed, the door suddenly opened and I saw Jiwon, Yoshinori, and Jaehyuk.

"PARK JIHOON!!!" Jiwon ran towards us and they took Jihoon. Hyunsuk and Junkyu was so surprised that they wasn't able to do anything.

"WHO DID THIS TO HIM?!" Yoshinori shouted and he saw the gun next to Hyunsuk. My eyes widened when he brought out a gun and cocked it.

He pointed it at Hyunsuk but Junkyu blocked Hyunsuk.

"NO DON'T!" Jiwon shouted and lowered Yoshinori's gun so the bullet landed on the floor. Jiwon shook her head at Yoshinori which made him glare at Junkyu.

"Why are you stopping me Erin?! He did this to Jihoon!" Are they using codenames?

"Jinwoo let's just go! Jihoon will die if we argue with them further!"

Junkyu ran towards them and tried to snatch Yoshinori's gun but he failed. Yoshinori grabbed his arm and flipped him causing Junkyu to land on the floor.

"You can't protect anyone, Junkyu. You can't." Yoshinori told Junkyu as he was stopping him from standing up by stepping on his arm.

"JINWOO LET'S GO!" Jiwon shouted and they ran out the condo. Junkyu was about to stand up but I stopped him.

"I... I think they're Jihoon's friends... let's just let them take Jihoon."

"BUT WHAT IF THEY'RE NOT, AREUM?!" Junkyu shouted but Hyunsuk tapped his back.

"They are. I saw Jihoon wake up as they took him. His eyes didn't show confusion when they took him."

Suddenly, the door opened and the police showed up. They immediately went towards Asahi and picked him up.

"Wh-Why are you taking him away?!" I shouted as I tried to pull he unconscious Asahi towards me.

"Mr. Choi Hyunsuk told us that you were abducted by Asahi."

"No, he didn't. I was wrong." Hyunsuk told the police. He placed both of his hands in front of the police making them confused.

"I beat him up for no reason and attempted to kill him. Take me instead."

The policemen where so confused but they still placed a handcuff on Hyunsuk's wrists.

They were about to walk out of the condo when Hyunsuk suddenly stopped. He turned around and looked at me.

"Be happy with Asahi, Areum."
