They nodded at me and went inside the car. A minute after they left, Hyunsuk's car arrived. I started to act like I'm having a hard time breathing.

"Jihoon?! Why do you have that?!"

"I... I ju-just found it o-over here!"

He grabbed the necklace from me and he slowly fell on the ground. I knelt down and hugged him.

This is what you get for loving someone that don't love you.

Pain.

"Why, why, why?! What do they want from Areum?! Money?! Then why aren't they calling me for ransom?!"

My eyes started to water as I watched him cry. It also hurts me to see him so devastated.

"Hyung let's go back to the church and talk with the poli-"

"Jihoon what if Asahi is the one that took her?!"

"Wh-what?"

"He must be the one behind Areum's kidnapping! Maybe he wanted to take her away from me!"

No, hyung. Areum is the one that wanted to runaway.

Damn it. I would like to say that to him but I just can't!

I panicked as he went inside his car. I followed him and knocked at his window. He opened it fully and I talked to him.

"Hyung, where are you going?!"

"Go find Areum and take her back."

"You wouldn't be able to find her!"

"What do you mean?"

I cursed under my breath as I realized that I was about to spill the truth.

"What I mean is that you'll never find her if you're not calm! Just go straight to the church and cooperate with the Police, hyung!"

He took a deep breath and I tapped his back.

"That's right. Thank you, Jihoon."

"Go ahead, I'll go look for more lead here that can help us find Areum." I watched his car disappear and I immediately called Jiwon.

"Have you arrived at hideout?"

"Yeah. Why? Do you need someone to pick you up?"

"Yeah. Same place you left me."

I was about to end the call but I heard Areum's voice and seems like she's asking if I'm the one on the phone.

"Jihoon, Areum wants to talk to you."

"Sure."

Jiwon gave her the phone and I immediately heard her sobs.

"Is he alright? He didn't get hurt, right?"

"Physically, no but emotionally? He sure did."

"Please... please comfort him Jihoon..."

"Then maybe you should've left him in a much better way!" I didn't notice that I was already shouting.

"Hyu-hyung....?" My eyes widened as I heard something.

I turned around and saw Junghwan behind me.

"I-is that my sister?!" My heart started to beat faster as knowing what can happen now that he overheard the phone call.

"And... what is this hideout that I heard? Were you the one that took her, hyung?!"

I hesitated at first but there's nothing elese I can do.

"Sorry, Junghwan."
