chapter 25 : kartik's decision

"What are you doing here?"Naira asked and before she could even say anything further he grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the apartment and took her outside.

Kartik and Naira crossed the road and Kartik pulled her towards him.

"Are you mad? What the hell Kartik! Did you follow me here?"Naira shouted

"You don't have the right to shout! It should be me who should be shouting not you! How could you be this selfish huh?What I did to you is nothing compared to what you did to me. What I did didn't involve my son in it!You kept him away from me for this long!"Kartik shouted

"I don't need to explain anything to you so so us a both favor and stay out of my life! And you are engaged now right? Go marry her and stay happy!"Naira said and turned around to leave but Kartik blocked her way.

"You hate me so much don't you?"he asked which made Naira to look at him

"More than you could even imagine. It's over. You destroyed everything!"she said

"I didn't okay? None of this would have happened if you gave me a chance to explain!"he said

"Explain what huh? Explain how you planned to trap me and how you used me to irk rishabh?No thank you. I have no interest on knowing what you did!"Naira said

"Do you really think I would let you go off this easily?You won't go anywhere or you will take my son anywhere!"he said firmly

"Coming here was the bad decision I took. If I stayed back in Goa I would have been out of your life!"Naira said

"So..it really was you!"Kartik said confusing Naira

"What?"she asked

"That night at the party. When I first saw Kairav. I thought I was dreaming when I saw you but that wasn't dream was it?"he questioned and Naira remained silent.

"Well if you think what I did to you was worse than what you did to me then you are wrong Naira. Because you did something which is beyond forgiveness!You ruined everything!"Kartik said

"Wow so I ruined everything? Did you forget the history we had huh? So shall I remind you of everything one more time?"Naira asked pulling her hand out of his grip.

"I don't care about you anymore Kartik. You can think anything about me. My life only belongs to Kairav. I dedicated my whole life for him and I gave him the best. But if someone tries to take my son away from me the consequences will be very bad! Don't forget that!"Naira said and walked away.

As she was crossing the road Kartik spoke.

"He's not only your son. He is my son too. As much as right you have on him I do as well. And even I will see who will stop me from having my son!"Kartik said angrily

"Don't you dare!Kairav doesn't need to get in between our problems!"Naira said. Kartik was fed up with her behavior and before he could say anything else Kartik noticed a car speedily coming towards Naira. Naira didn't even notice the car coming as she was busy shouting at him.

"Naira!"he shouted and before he could even reach her everything happened so fastly. Naira was hit by the car and was lying on the road unconsciously.
