chapter 23 : kartik and naira's meet

Naira went out to bring some things for kairav's school.

As she was in the supermarket she bumped into someone.

"I am sorry!"Naira said looking at that girl and was about to leave but stopped when the girl spoke and that was none other than Vedika

"Naira?"she said in shock

"Yeah? How do you know me?"Naira asked in confusion.

"You are alive? Oh my god is this real?"she asked and Naira was getting confused

"I am sorry but I have no clue about who you are and I really have to go!"Naira said and was about to leave but stopped when she spoke

"So Kairav is your's and kartik's son?"she asked shocking Naira.

"I think you have some misunderstanding. I don't know anyone named Kartik!"Naira said

"Naira, don't lie. You have no idea how much pain Kartik went in these years!"she said

"Look I don't know what you are saying. Just leave me alone!"Naira shouted getting annoyed

"Fine then,I will inform Kartik about you being alive and he will handle this!"she said shocking Naira

"What?No no no! You won't do that!"Naira said

"What do you want me to do huh?"Naira asked

"Why did you leave Kartik and go?"Vedika asked

"Look I don't want to talk about it. But I love my life this way. Staying away from Kartik is the best thing for me and my son and I would like to keep it that way!"Naira said

"Me and Kartik are getting engaged tomorrow!"she said. Naira felt hurt deep down somewhere but her hatred for him didn't let that come up.

"It doesn't matter to me. I hate Kartik. From the last five years i hated him so much and I will continue to do so! So it doesn't matter to me even if you marry him. All you have to do is not tell kartik the truth. I have no intentions in coming back into his life so..think of me as I am dead just like everyone else!"Naira said and left even before Vedika could even reply.

Meanwhile at the Goenka villa Kartik explained his family members how he met Kairav in Goa and how he thinks that he is his father.

"Kartik,but you should tell him the truth na? You can't keep lying to him"Suhasini said

"Dadi he is just a small kid. I can't tell him the truth.At least not now. And you guys can't tell him anything too!"Kartik said and everyone agreed.

Kartik spent a great time with Kairav and the Goenka's too enjoyed his company.

"I think it's best if we go now...it is getting late!"Liza said and Kartik nodded.

"I will see you again tomorrow then my Chottu!"Kartik said hugging Kairav

"Where will we meet tomorrow papa?"Kairav asked

"Tomorrow we have a party,Kairav you also should come!"Manish suggested

"Okay papa I will be there!"Kairav said with a smile while Kartik wondered whether or not it was best for Kairav to come.
