Nightmares

   Cannon timeline. Fresh is 16. Just after rescue.

So dark. I couldn't see anything. It's like there was nothing for miles and miles.
   "Faris. Faris wake up! You know daddy gets mad when you pass out during his relaxing time."
   No! No! I was safe! I was safe and at home! I was safe... It was a dream. I almost wailed.
   "Oh shut up! You know I hate the crying! I thought you were over this!" There was a rustling. No! Not the whip!
   "P-Please no! No!" I cried.
   "You know what I have to do Faris. If you were quiet I wouldn't have to hurt you as much."
   I pulled at the chains. "No no no! Ill be good! I promise! I promise! Please no!!!"
   "Fresh! Fresh baby wake up!"
   I jolted and clutched onto rhe fabric under my grasp. "Please. Ill be good. I'll be good I promise. Don't hurt me!" I hiccuped and buried my face in the fabric.
   There was a gentle hand on my head. "Oh baby. Shh. It's okay. You're okay."
   I peaked out. "M-ma?" I hiccuped lightly. I gripped tighter onto her shirt.
   She gave a sad smile through her tears. "Yes baby. It's okay."
   I sobbed and buried my face in her shirt again. "Mommy!!!"
   She frowned and gathered me the best she could into her lap. "Shh... shh. Hush my rainbow. You're safe now." She hummed softly.
   I hiccuped and sobbed. It was still fresh to my memory. It was.... horrifying.
   "S he okay..?"
   I looked up and noticed a worried looking Geno at the door. Error stood behind him clutching his pillow.  Asy was no where to be seen.
   "He'll be alright. Just a nightmare." Ma sighed. "Do you think you cam go back to sleep baby..?"
   I shook my head and sniffled.
   She nodded snd rubbed soothing circles in my back. "That's okay baby. Take your time."
   Geno sighed and crossed the room. " Hey Fresh. How you feeling."
   I pouted. "Lousy..."
   Geno gave a small smile. "Yeah I bet."
   Asy slid in the door beside Error with a steaming mug. "I brought you tea to calm you down."
   I sat myself up and crossed my legs. "Thanks Unc..." I whispered.
   "You don't gotta do the stupid lingo anymore," Errors words were quiet and I almost didn't hear them. Almost.
   I stared into the mug. "I'll be okay now. Go back to sleep... 'Specially you Geno."
   Geno gave a huffed. "No way."
   I sighed. "Y'all are gonna make me feel even worse if you stay. Please just go back to bed?" I sat the mug on my bedside table.
   Ma opened her mouth to object.
   "Ma... please... I wanna be alone..." I murmured.
   Ma frowned and sighed. " Okay Fresh... Call me if you need me."
   With that Uncle Asy, Ma, and Geno filtered out to their own rooms. Error stuck by the door. "Wanna talk about it?"
   I shook my head.
   He huffed and came over sitting on the bed. "Wanna play pokemon instead?"
   I looked up puzzled. Error... never offered to play pokemon. "Really..?"
   "Yes really. I wasn't sleeping Anyway." He shrugged.
   I sniffled and wiped my face. I gave a small smile. "Sure..."
   He rolled his eyes. "Whatever." Im pretty sure i caught him smiling back.
