Clover!?

   Fresh and I really, really wanted a baby. After Error's reveal we talked and talked and talked. We asked Jessie too. Jess was turning 14 soon. That's a big age gap. Would it be okay? Jessie, the sweet sunshine child he is, loved babies. He would love a baby brother.

   We wouldn't be able to do it the conventional way. Fresh would never be comfortable with that. So we tried alternate ways!

   The doctors visit was yucky. He took a sample of magic from both of us and merged them. And there it was. Our baby.

   We both decided it would be best if I carried the baby. It was the best option over all. So here we were. We were having a baby!

   Baby Valentine was born 3 months in. He was so small. He looked like Error.

   Fresh and I had talked about how to announce it. It was hard though. The right time never seemed to come.

   And then it was Jessie's birthday. The big one four. Perfect.

   Fresh slid over the last present. A tiny little envelope. "Happy birthday kiddo." He smiled and ruffled Jess's hair.

   Everyone leaned close to see what it was. Jess was oh so careful opening the envelope. He could almost sense the precious energy.

   Inside was an ultrasound with the title 'Clover Ace. Due XX, XX, XXXX.'

   Jessie stared at he picture and then looked up. "It's a girl?"

   Fresh laughed softly and gave a fond look. "It's a girl."

   Jess turned to me and pouted. "You promised me a brother!"

   The other guests finally seemed to recover. "WHAT!?"

   "A girl!?" Morang's eyes had lit up. Finally! Another girl!!!

   "A baby!?" Geno was shook. So many babies in such a short time! "Congratulations!"

   Error looked on the verge of a crash. "What? I don't? Huh!?"

   This was easily surprising but happy news. Another baby on the way. Everyone was excited.

   Clover was born on a rainy day. Fresh's jacket was still soaked when Clover was wheeled back into the room.

   Tiny little hands and a little tuft of pink on her head. Hair. Cute.

   "Shes perfect Sunshine." Fresh whispered.

   "She is. . ." I agreed.
