Wedding Bells

   A few years in the future. Jessie is 8 now and Morang is 6.

   "I can't believe you're getting married before me!" Geno pouted. "You always came off as a jerk."
   Error flushed a bit. "Oh hush."
   "It's because of Heart. He's too lovey dovey to wait longer," I snickered lightly.
   "Shut up!!!" Error hissed his face a brilliant bright color. He looked like he was about to explode.
   "Chill out. Heart is gonna be here soon." I smiled and reached to fix his tie.
   "Don't you tell me to chill out. Its my wedding!" Error hissed. He was only being hostile because he was nevous.
   I opened my mouth to quip back at him but stopped as I heard music. "We'll continue this after the wedding."
   The ceremony ended up perfect. Everything went well. Ma cried. Error cried. Error and Heart took so many pictures. We also found out that Error looks pretty good in white.
   That night I went home and crashed on the couch. Error had moved out last year. It was just me and Jess now except Jess was with Geno for the night. I had the whole apartment to myself.
   There was a quiet knock on the door.
   I groaned softly into the throw pillow. "Who is it?"
   "It's me." I heard Club's soft voice.
   I sat up. "You can come in. It's unlocked. You have a key anyway."
   He opened up the door. "Geno borrowed my key and he hasn't given it back." He plopped down. He had already changed out of his tux. He was wearing a green t-shirt and sweat pants.
   I'm glad I changed before he got here. "Oh. That makes sense."
   He nodded and leaned his head on ny shoulder. "Hey.." His voiced trembled lightly on the word.
   "Yeah..?" I asked. The worry in my soul betrayed my voice.
   "Listen. I was thinking at the wedding... They looked so happy right?" He sighed.
   I blinked. "Yeah. They did."
   "Yeah.." He sighed and shuffled around reaching into his pocket. "Listen... I picked this up a while ago. You don't have to say yes or anything! I was just thinking... do you think we could be like that..?" Club asked softly.
   I swallowed thickly. I shifted my head to look down at him. He wasn't looking up. He was looking at the little box in his hand. The perfect size for... a ring.
   He glanced uo and his face flushed. "Like I said you don't have to say yes! This was a stupid idea anyway! Forget about it!" he shoved the ring back in his pocket and went to get up.
   I blinked dumbly. "Club are you asking me to marry you?"
   He froze halfway to the door. He turned snd rubbed the back of his neck. "I mean... yeah... I was trying to..."
   I furrowed my brows and stared at him. I couldn't get my thoughts straight. "Me? But I'm... broken..?"
   He snapped his head up. "What!?"
   I winced lightly. I didn't mean to say that out loud. That was just my only coherent thought.
   "You aren't broken! You're just different. What happened to you was really bad and you felt really bad and sometimes you still feel really bad! But I just know that I wanna be there when you feel really bad... I wanna... I wanna pick you up and tell you everything is okay. I wanna take those memories away from you. I want to be with you! I love you Starlight." His hands were shaking lightly.
   I blinked and wiped away the stray tear from my eye. I only had one thought right there."Yes."
   Club stared at me wide eyed. "What?"
   I crossed the room and pulled him into a hug. "Yes. I will marry you."
   He paused and then buried his head in my shoulder. His whole body went relaxed. "Thank God..." he mumbled.
   "I love you," I whispered softly.
   "I love you too Starlight."
