Crayola huffed. Everything seemed dull. He didn't wanna admit that he. . . missed the multiverse. There was so many places to go! And now hes confined to home. Like a wild horse in captivity.
"Pops I'm bored!!! Do we have to do all this job hunting?!"

"You're going to college, living under my roof, and you don't have a job. Seven has a job. You need one. At least part time." Fresh sighed softly and used his hat to fan himself.

Crayola grumbled a little and then spotted a familiar purple outfit. "Matthew. Hey! Hey Matt!" He took off.

"Crayola! Don't run away from me!" Fresh said slightly panicked

Matt turned lightly in his chair and perked up. "Hey! Kid!"

Crayola stopped with a big grin. "What are you doing here??"

"Actually Glitchy picked the spot this time. I had no idea where we were until you showed up."

"You know him..?" Fresh asked when he finally caught up to his youngest. Geez he's getting too old for this. . .

"Yeah! This is Matt!!" Crayola chirped.

Matt smiled a bit and pulled Crayola down by the arm. "What are you doing!? Glitchy could be back any second and you bring your dad over here!?" he whisper-yelled.

Crayola paused and then blank faced. "Uh oh."

"Yeah 'uh oh' get rid of him!"

"Oi. Purple puma I got the– Kid! Hey!" Uh oh. Error is here. Matt's Error.

Matt and Crayola stared at each other. "Uh oh."

   "Error!?"

Error looked up and stalled. "I chose a bad time to come back. Didn't I?"

Crayola rubbed the back of his neck.
"Well this is awkward. Listen pops let me explain."

"Oh you better get explaining. You know my history with doppelgangers so if I don't hear something I am calling your father." Fresh put his hands on his hips to seal the deal.

"R-remember all those dreams Seven and I have been having? Well they're not exactly dreams. . ." Crayola mumbled.

"What do you mean? The nightmares?" Fresh softened a bit.

"Ah. Let me buy you and the kid a coffee. We can help explain. If you'll let us of course." Matt chimed in.

Fresh sighed and rubbed the sides of his head. "Yeah please and thank you. I think I need caffeine for this story."

The three explained the whole thing from beginning to end.

Fresh took a long sip of coffee. "So. The entire universe–"

   "Multiverse," Crayola added.

"Multiverse. . . Crumbled and you helped save it?"

"Sorta..?" Crayola shrugged a little and traced the lines in the table.

"Ah. I knew this conversation would happen eventually. . ." Matt sighed pinching the bridge of his nose. "Listen Mr. Queen. I apologize for the trouble."

   "Oh no no. It's just. . . A lot."

"Oh this is nothing. There used to be more."

Matt elbowed Error in the ribs. "Hush you."

Fresh sighed softly. "I can't believe I didn't notice before..."

"Well you're kinda busy and Seven has his part in the movie and dad has his job and other dad is helping Jessie with his business and Clover is on the other side of the world and I just... I dunno." He shrugged.

Fresh sighed and pat Crayola's shoulder. "And you feel left out. This must be nothing compared to what you had out there. . ."

Crayola sighed. "I love acting but its just hard to get back in the spirit."

"Oh kid..." Matt whispered reaching over to rub Crayola's back.

"I mean we were looking for a job for you. And here we find some old friends of yours who can take you on amazing adventures throughout the universe."

   "Multiverse."

Matt elbowed Error again and watched with a smile.

Crayola looked up with tears in his eyes. "Really? Are you sure?"

"Oh I'm never sure about this. This is insane. But you're an adult now. You gotta do something."

Crayola launched over the table to hug his dad tight. "I love you so so much. I'll come to visit! All the time. Promise."

Fresh smiled and hugged Crayola tight. "You better."
