Cheater?

   I can't believe it. There's no way. He wouldn't. He wouldn't! He wouldnt!!!
Why else would he have a fancy suit hidden or a ticket for a reservation at a fancy restaurant or the card for the flower shop? He couldn't... right?

   He was "at work" right now. Hes been working a lot lately hasn't he... Jessie was at school. Error would certainly be busy editing their musjc video. Who could he call?

   Deccy? A sudden terrible thought hit him. What if... it was Deccy? Not Decans then. Definitely not.

   Geno? That would work. He could call Geno. He grabbed his phone snd dialed the number.

   "Hello?"

   "Geno..." My voice trembled more than I expected.

   "Fresh? Are you okay? What's wrong?" Geno sounded really worried suddenly.

   "Geno can you come over. I just... I need to talk..." I whispered. I couldn't hold back the small sob that escaped.

   "Of course! I'll be there in ten." The call cut off.

   Geno was true to his word. He was there in 9 actually. His knocks were a bit frantic.

   I opened the door and sniffled.

   "Fresh. What's wrong what happened?" He had a right to be worried. He was usually never called and if he was it was only after Club, Error, and Deccy.

   "I think Club is cheating on me. He had this fancy suit hidden and a flower shop card and a ticket for a restaurant reservation. He comes home super late. What did i do wrong Geno?" The words spilled out of my mouth in a jumble.

   His eye widened. "Oh Fresh..." he guided me to the couch carefully and sank down.

   "Am I not enough? Is it because of Jessie? Is it because I can't have sex?" I blubbered out unable to think. I was definitely spiraling.

   "Fresh. Fresh. Hey.." Geno wiped away the tears and blinked as he heard the door open.

   "Fresh?" Speak of the devil. Uh oh.

   Geno huffed and pat my back. "Stay here okay...?"

   I nodded a little and tried to keep quieter.

   Geno got up. I heard them talking and then Geno raised his voice. I covered my ears.

   Geno returned looking... relieved. I uncovered. "What..?"

   "Fresh do you know what day today is?" Geno asked.

   "Saturday..?" I responded softly.

   "The 18th of June." Geno hummed. Wait. The 18th of June... Fancy suit, Flowers, restaurant.

   "It's our anniversary!" The thought struck me like lightning.

   "Yeah." Club piped from the doorway.

   I turned. He was in the fancy suit clutching a bouquet of pink carnations. My favorite.

   "I'm sorry. I didn't. I forgot..." I wiped at my eyes frantically now.

   "Oh Starlight it's okay. Honestly I was hoping you forgot. It would make the surprise better." he set the flowers aside and opened his arms for a hug.

   I nuzzled him and sniffled. "I'm still sorry..."

   "Don't be Starlight. I love you." he whispered. I could hear the door open and shut. Geno must have slipped out

   "I love you too.." I responded.
