Author's POV

Shaani came down the staircase talking to each other, Sharon was continuously teasing taani about Rey and Ansh making the latter's cheeks go bright red in embarrassment.Reyam and their parents were talking to each other at that time when Ansh started making loud babbling sounds seeing Taani,

"Ta...TA..TA...Da..Ta....."

A huge smile came on her lips seeing Ansh, she was really missing him a lot. All of them sitting in the living room saw the duo coming, Rey's eyes were stuck on her for a moment before his gaze faltered because of Ansh, he kept Ansh down and he immediately started crawling towards Taani on his small knees. Taani sat on the floor when Ansh was few steps away from her and he jumped in her arms quickly hugging her, she picked him up twirling him around making the small guy giggle aloud, his laughter echoed in the Shekhawat mansion. Taani felt so happy seeing him happy, and moreover the reason of his happiness was her, it made the feeling all the more special.

She stopped twirling him and hugged him to her heart, kissing his puffy cheeks soundly, she said,

"I missed you so much meri jaan! Did Ansh miss me?"

He tilted his head a little sideways before cupping her cheeks and caressing her face lightly, she got her answer in his small gesture, he did miss her after all. She held his head from the back lightly pulling his face closer and nuzzled their noses making Ansh giggle again.

The duo even forgot that they had company, they were busy in themselves, while all the others were just sitting there admiring them. None could say that Taani wasn't Ansh's real mother and in their hearts the belief that they have taken the right decision by marrying taarey was strengthening every passing minute.

Rey was looking at the duo with admiration, fascination, wonder, and what not. He was actually amused how Ansh shares such a great bond with Taani in such a short time. He couldn't see any reason, or even if there are reasons or logics behind this, his mind refuses to believe them. All he knew was this marriage will keep Ansh happy and nothing else.

Taani finally noticed everyone sitting there, smiling sheepishly she went down and took Rey's parents blessings before she sat beside Ragini with Ansh in her arms. She passed a small smile to Rey and he did the same. Sharon sat on the other side of Taani and nudged her a little,

"Zara dekho to, abhi se mere best friend ki nazar tumse hatt nahi rahi, shaadi ke baad kya hoga?"

Taani's cheeks turned bright red hearing her and she passed a small pleading pout to Sharon who giggled shaking her head while Rey was confused about why Taani was blushing so much. She had that red hue on her face since the time she came down, though he has no problem in seeing her cheeks go red, he actually liked it specially when he is the reason for it. He immediately shook his head,

Ye kya soch raha hai Rey, tu sach mein pagal ho gaya hai. You aren't allowed to think like this. Janta hai na ye shaadi tu kyu kar raha hai. Just focus on that.

He again looked at taani who has just turned towards him and both of them were caught in a eyelock for a second when Sharon again said something to taani and she blushed breaking the eyelock.

His heartbeat raised seeing her blushing like that,

Oh god! This girl is driving me crazy.

Forgetting the somersaults that was going inside him, he kept a straight face not giving out any of his feelings or emotions, Taani frowned seeing his demeanor changing but before she could give it a thought she heard Ranvijay saying,
