Taani was taking out clothes for herself to wear when he barged in angrily, she shivered at her place but manged to conceal her fear well. Before she could know his big figure was towering over her small one and he held her elbow harshly pulling her towards himself with a jerk and asking with fury,

"Why didn't you tell me?" Taani didn't say anything looking down when his hold tightened making her wince, but he was too angry to give a damn about her pain and barked at her face,
"I AM ASKING YOU SOMETHING, FOR GOD SAKE, ANSWER ME DAMMIT!"
She squirmed and sobbed saying, trying to take her hand from his,
"Rey you are hurting me."
He pulled her closer tightly, leaving not even an inch between their faces, their breaths hitting each other, he could see her eyes getting moist but he could not bring himself to just let this go so easily. It was about his daughters, about whom he was unaware about till now. He scoffed at her,
"Hurting! I am hurting you, What about you haan? I am sure this is nothing in front of what you have done. You bloody hid my daughter's existence from me. I never knew I had daughters and I am sure I wouldn't have known ever if I haven't barged into your cabin to talk to you. You weren't planning to tell me right?"
She kept looking down when he said again laughing sarcastically,
"C'mon Taani, tell me. If you were thinking about this, surely you can say it on my face that you wouldn't have told me about my daughters ever. Bolo!"
She was just looking down crying, not able to face him and he got his answer. Scoffing he left her hand with a jerk running his fingers in his hair,
"You know what Taani, whatever happened seven years back, I thought I was at fault all this time. Even though you said you aren't holding anything against me. Par ab pata chala kitna galat tha main. You did this to punish me right? Tum Ansh se dur rahi to tumne mujhe bhi meri betiyon se dur rakha."
She shook her head trying to walk closer to him but he backed off, turning around he said,
"Why didn't you tell me taani? Manta hu tumhe bahot hurt kiya hoga, but kisi bhi hurt ki ye punishment to nahi ho sakti na? Itni badi saza, that I wasn't even aware about my baby girl's existence. I know I am a jerk, but kya main ek achha father bhi nahi tha that you didn't even thought about telling me the truth. Ya you didn't even think of me as worthy enough?"
Unknown to himself, tears started falling freely from his eyes, Taani immediately shook her head and tried to close the distance while his back still faced her. Hesitatingly she kept her hand on his back making his body tense because of anger and frustration but he didn't move away. He heard her say,
