One word summary of this chapter: Angry.

Y/N POV:

The sound of a snore woke me up, making me jolt up from my slumber. I knew who it was, recognizing the snuffling noise when McCree took naps on the airship seats. Tilting my head, I saw that he had successfully snuck his way into the tent and found his spot to sleep on. His hat was nowhere on his head, sitting on the side of his face along with his horrendous bedhead. The time on my watch said 6:13 am, an early morning for me. Slowly rising from my sleeping bag, I carefully walked out of the tent and into the dawn of day. The sunrise was soon to come, the yellows and pinks melting together as the sun creeps up where the sky meets the blanket of snow covering the ground. A beautiful sight to wake up to. Then the sound of a grumble came from the tent, as McCree poked his head through the curtain-like door of the tent.

"What are you doing up so early?" He slurred, his voice heavy from sleep.

I ignored his question, "We need to get going if we want to get this mission over with." My hands went to my hips, too exhausted to put up with any of his bullshit.

He nodded, taking the two sleeping bags out of the tent and pressing a button to revert the tent back to it's tiny square shape. I grabbed my sleep sack and rolled it up to shove into my bag before pulling out the breakfast bar I had stuffed in there. Putting the bag over my shoulders, I waited for McCree to grab beef jerky from his bag before we headed out of the clearing and deeper into the woods.

No words were said, just the gentle wind blowing the tiny mist of snowflakes into loopy patterns. It had been over an hour since we began, and the gps on my watch said we were getting close. Just a half mile away and soon we can finally put an end to this stupid trip. Just one more day and I'll be out of his shaggy hair. Then all I have to do is to file a lengthy report and hand over the flash drive to Winston. One more day.

As we got closer to the location, I started to see the shadowed silhouette of the building. It motivated me to walk faster and faster. My boots dragging against the snow, my eyes set on that building ahead. I felt myself getting pulled back by a hand on my elbow.

"Slow down for a second!" McCree exclaimed as he tried to catch his breath. "That building ain't going anywhere."

I pulled my arm away from his touch, not bothering to look at him. The clouded sky seemed far more interesting to look at than his stupid face. Man, what I would do to punch him in the face right now. I clenched my fists at the thought of it. "Are you done yet?"

"I'm done with your attitude. You're acting rather petty." Of course, I'm acting petty. All he ever does is treat me like I can't do anything right. No matter how much I try to put up the nice act, he pushes me away.

I whirled my head to look at his hazel eyes, "You're right, I'm a petty bitch."

McCree's thin eyes seemed to burst open, he stumbled back slightly. It was soon corrected with a cough, his surprised reaction reverting to his poker face. "I never said that." He tried to say it clearly, but the shock was present in his voice.

"You didn't have to." My eyebrows furrowed, as I began to walk away. Why was he taken aback from what I said? He should be smart enough to know how his words hurt me.

"Wait a second-" A hint of desperation was in his voice, but I refused to stop.

"Let's get the job done and forget this mission ever happened. Capiche?" I don't care how sorry he is, I want to let the guilt simmer until he's cooked alive. Whatever excuse he pulls out of his ass isn't going to cut it. It's too late now.

We came closer to the Volskaya Industries base, it stood what looked like two stories high. For a base, it was relatively small; the size of a regular house than a football field. It was in the woods after all, it had to stay hidden. Security here is limited, small. Enough people probably slacking off since no one expects us here. I zipped down my coat to pull out the hard drive, it shined against the white snow.
