Chapter 79
I was standing at the front door of this huge ass house. I bit my lip as I rang the bell. I was nervous as hell. It had been a couple days since the drama happened. I looked down at my phone at the address that Krissy had sent me to make sure it was right. This house was big. I didn't know they had this kind of money.
"Shut up Channel," I heard Nola say as she answered the door.
I bit my lip as she opened the door laughing. I smiled a little bit as she looked me up and down. I knew I was cute today so it ain't surprise me at all.
"What you doing here?" She said as she placed her hand on the door frame.
"I was invited," I said as I furrowed my eyebrows.
I let my eyes travel over her body. She must be just coming from work or something. She was in black dress pants, black socks and her black sports bra I let my eyes wander over her arms and chest and stomach. She definitely was tone up. I let my eyes settle on the tattoo she had on her inner arm. It was a black and grey wolf that was nicely done on her bicep.
"By who?" She asked me.
"Uh krissy and lani," I said.
"Well I didn't invite you and neither did Robyn so..." she was cut off by Krissy.
"What Robs tell you about answering doors without a shirt on?" Krissy said as she walked up and wrapped her arms around her neck.
"No answering the door without a shirt unless I know who it is," Nola said and sighed.
"Okay then now put ya shirt on," she said.
"How Imma get this tattoo with a shirt on tho?" Nola asked.
"Take it back off when King and them get here. Now go finishing changing yo clothes," Krissy said and bit her bottom lip.
"Fine. Besides it was nobody important at the door," she said and looked at me.
I felt my heart drop. Krissy looked at me and smiled.
"Come in Melody. Ignore Nola she just cranky as fuck right now. She hasn't been to bed yet," Krissy said and laughed.
I smiled and nodded my head as Nola walked up the staircase. She was mumbling and unbuckleing her pants.
"Why all y'all niggas here? Y'all got fucking houses," she yelled as she made her way down the long hallway to the left.
"She needs to go to bed," Rico yelled as he walked pass us and straight into the kitchen.
I raised my eyebrow everybody was just ignoring scary Nova. Cause I must admit I was a bit shook.
"Robs and a few people are in the studio and everybody else is out by the pool," Krissy said as I followed her into the kitchen.
"Where you heading to?" I asked her as she grabbed a case of beer and some water.
I wasn't gonna be left alone to be bullied by a cranky Nova. I was gonna stick with a group on this one.
"I'm going to watch Robs and Nola lay down this demo for Lani,"she and smirked.
"Oh okay," I said as I followed her down another hallway.
"How is that gonna happen with her being an ass and all?" I asked her as we made another turn down a huge hallway.
"Oh you will see," she said and laughed.
I nodded like she could see me. This house is huge. You can tell they were still moving in. The walls didn't have much decorations on it. It was a couple of photos. It was one that caught my eye.
