~Chapter 3~

No POV

Class has finally ended for the day and it was finally lunch time for the y/n and Sasuke. Y/n walked with Sasuke to the Cafeteria as they talked about random things with Naruto. Y/n couldn't help but think about the compliment Neji gave to her. She was so focused in her thoughts that she didn't realize Naruto was calling her name.

"Earth to y/n? Hello...!!"

Y/n eyes widened as she looked up at Naruto who was chuckling a bit. Sasuke eyed y/n a bit as he realized that she's been acting off. Y/n faked a smile at Naruto as she scratched her neck.

"S-Sorry Naruto I wasn't paying attention. But what's up?"

"I have to go! Classes already finished so I think I'm heading home. I'll see you tomorrow guys!"

Naruto told y/n and Sasuke as he ran away to his house. Y/n didn't even realize that school was finished already. She then felt a hand drag her by the wrist as she looked at Sasuke.

"Where are you taking me...?!"

Y/n asked Sasuke curiously as they walked to a corner of the school. They walked up the stairs and sat down where he knew no one would bother them not even his fan girls. Y/n raised an eyebrow at Sasuke as she put her bag down.

"What's been on your mind? It's obvious something is wrong."

Sasuke asked y/n worriedly as he looked at y/n seriously. She sighed and leaned against the wall. She knew Sasuke would see through her but it's not like she minded.

"It's just... I don't know the compliment Neji gave me earlier made me feel a way. It feels wrong but good?"

Sasuke raised an eyebrow at what y/n had said. He was surprised to hear that from her in a way he was happy that she felt something and didn't start thinking about that damn brother of his. Don't get Sasuke wrong he wants the both of them to end up together but the way Itachi treated her wasn't right.

"Are you starting to get feelings for Neji?"

Sasuke asked y/n making her choke on her spit a bit. She turn slightly red as she looked at Sasuke. Was she catching feelings for Neji? She loved Itachi though...

"I don't know? I think so but I don't know honestly I still love Itachi, Sasuke.  It's just I don't know how long I can wait for Itachi when he walked out my life like I meant nothing..."

Y/n told Sasuke as she leaned into his chest. Sasuke rubbed her back as he smiled a bit. He was happy that she was developing feelings for someone other than Itachi. Sasuke would never forgive him for what he did to y/n.

"Let's not talk about it too much right now. I'm glad you're starting to develop feelings for someone else though."

Sasuke told y/n as he smiled at her and rubbed her head a bit. Y/n sighed as she smiled a bit and grabbed Sasuke's arm. She felt happy that she was developing feelings for another guy but she also felt like a part of her heart was snatched by Itachi.

"Yeah I'm glad too... Let's go have fun!! We should invite our friends to meet up at the house!"

Y/n told Sasuke as he nodded a bit. They needed some time with friends especially after their stressful summer. Sasuke nodded as he called up some friends. Y/n and Sasuke walked to the car as he talked on the phone with people. Y/n sighed as he she leaned against the window and looked out.

Y/n and Sasuke had already finished setting up all the food for their friends now they were sitting on the couch waiting for them to show up. Y/n yawned as she watched the tv with Sasuke. The both turned their head as they heard a knock. Y/n and Sasuke got up to open the door only to see that everybody was at the door. Talk about perfect timing huh?

"Hey guys! We brought some games and stuff! Let's party!!"

Naruto yelled as he walked into the house along with everyone. They awed at the amazing house that they had. It was a huge mansion with beautiful decoration. It was mostly white because y/n didn't want it to look all dark.

"You guys have a nice ass house!"

Kiba yelled as he walked around and made himself at home. All the fan girls walked into the house and by fan girls I mean Ino, Sakura, and Karin. They looked at Sasuke with heart eyes only for him to feel uncomfortable and walk away to look for Naruto. Y/n giggled a bit as she let more people come in. She was about to close the door only to be stopped by Neji. Y/n's eyes widened as he walked into the door.

"Sorry for being late! I went to buy these. I know they're your favorite."

Neji told y/n as he handed her some sweet dangos. Y/n felt her chest tightened up at the sight of dangos. It reminded her of Itachi so much... she hated dangos ever since. Y/n smiled as she put the dangos down. She was still grateful that he thought about her it was really sweet of him.

"Thank you Neji! I appreciate it but you really didn't have to!"

Y/n told Neji making him give her a soft smile. Neji grabbed y/n's hand softly as he sat down with her. Y/n was blushing furiously as she made herself comfortable. She felt a weird feeling in her stomach at the sight of Neji.

"You look cute today."

Neji told y/n as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Y/n pushed Neji a bit as she blushed a bit. She couldn't help but feel uncomfortable at the sudden contact but she'll admit Neji did make her feel butterflies. Y/n was panicking but thankfully Sasuke showed up.

"Hey y/n you down to play a couple of songs?"

Sasuke asked making y/n immediately nod. Y/n waved at Neji as she ran up her room to grab her guitar. She felt weird to be able to feel flustered around someone again. Maybe she was actually catching feelings?

"Itachi..."

Y/n thought to herself as she walked closer to the guitar he gave her. She remembered how excited she was when she received it from him. It used to be his old guitar but he decided that she would use it more than him. Y/n grabbed the guitar and started to tune it. Every strum of the guitar made her heart drop deeper and deeper.

"Itachi It's been so long when are you coming back? Why'd you leave?"

Y/n thought to herself as she finally tuned all the strings on the guitar. She hugged the guitar thinking about him. She missed him so much... how could she miss someone who played with her heart and left though. Y/n sighed as she put her hair up a bit and walked down stairs.

"S-Sorry it took me awhile! I was tuning my guitar!"

Y/n told everybody as she faked a smile. Everybody smiled at her as they reassured her that it was okay. Y/n looked back only to see that Sasuke was playing the bass, Naruto was playing the drums, and lastly tenten was the second guitarist. Y/n's eyes widened a bit as she realized what she was going to do. She walked towards Sasuke and whispered in his ear.

"You never told me I was going to sing...!!"

Y/n panicked as she looked at Sasuke. He chuckled a bit as he patted y/n's head. He knew that y/n had an amazing voice so he wanted to share it with everyone.

"It'll be okay I promise. Here, we'll sing the song that we usually sing together okay?"

Y/n gulped a bit as she nodded her head. Sasuke whispered to the group as they nodded their head and started to smile. Y/n went up to the microphone and greeted the people who showed up at the 'party'. Y/n took a deep breath as she turned around to Sasuke and nodded.
