~Chapter 9~

No POV

Y/n sighed as she looked down at Itachi's lap. The sudden question from Itachi threw her off a bit. She looked up at Itachi and shook her head a bit.

"I'm not really okay, Itachi. It hasn't even been a full year since he passed away..."

Y/n squeezed her wrist forgetting about the pain. Y/n felt her chest tighten up thinking about her brother. Itachi grabbed her hand softly and kissed it. She looked at Itachi with glossy eyes as her lip trembled.

"I haven't been able to actually cry since I found his body... I feel so bad that I can't cry because he's gone..."

Y/n told Itachi as she tried her best to compose herself. Even if her eyes tear up she hasn't been able to let it all out since her brother's death. She closed her eyes as she remembered everything that happened as if it were yesterday.

Y/n had gotten back from a day out with Sasuke. She closed her door and took her shoes off.

"Yuki!! I'm back home!!"

Y/n yelled as she smiled at the bag she had in her hands. She picked up some guitar strings for her brother along with other things he's been wanting. Y/n raised her eyebrow as she didn't get a respond back from her brother.

"Yuki...?!"

Y/n yelled again as she began to walk upstairs. She heard loud music play from his room. She shook her head as she knocked on his door. There was no answer... y/n sighed as she opened the door.

"Yu-"

Y/n cut herself off as she saw her brother's body hanging from the ceiling. Her eyes widened as she saw his lifeless body. Y/n screamed from the top of her lungs as she ran towards his body. Y/n put him down on the floor and started to shake him furiously.

"Yuki...!! Please wake up big brother...!! Don't leave me please..!!"

Y/n yelled on top of her lungs hoping that he would wake up from the sudden loudness. Y/n grabbed her phone and called 911.

"Please come!..!! My brother committed suicide please hurry up..!!"

Y/n yelled as she hung up immediately. Y/n began to shake as she hugged her brothers lifeless body tightly. She couldn't cry... she felt frozen... she couldn't believe that this was real. It was all a nightmare it had to be..!!

"C'mon Yuki..!! Stay with me please..!"

Y/n yelled out as she looked around hoping she would find out the reason why he would do this. She saw bottles of alcohol around the room all empty. Y/n couldn't stop shaking as she looked at Yuki again. She felt like it was all her fault. If only she paid more attention to her brother..!

"I'm so sorry, Yuki..!! Please don't leave me I'm begging you..."

———————-A week later———————-

Y/n looked down at the casket as it was getting buried. She felt completely numb as she held her umbrella. Such a coincidence that it happened to rain on one of the worst days. Every breath that y/n took it turned to mist. It was a cold water day.  Hours passed by as she stood there looking at her brother's tombstone. Everybody had left it was only her and him. She had no one else... Her parents completely abandoned y/n and yuki. It was only the both of them... now it's just her.
