Sirius looked over at Azalea, biting his lip nervously. She was sitting on the couch opposite from him, laughing at something Lily had said. 'She should be laughing at me' he thought jealously, immediately regretting it. It was her sister, after all! He scooted closer to Azalea, his stomach tied in knots. He winced but continued getting closer, the pain beginning to deepen.

When Sirius was right by Azalea, his stomach had an explosion. He could feel something moving around, almost like butterflies. But Sirius knew it wasn't actual butterflies. He knew what it meant. Azalea looked up at Sirius, still talking to Lily. Her mouth closed suddenly and she stopped talking, still looking up at Sirius. Sirius looked back at Azalea, smiling slightly.

"Azalea? Azalea," Lily asked, frowning, "Are you even listening to me?" She sighed, exasperated. Azalea snapped her head back towards Lily, nodding her head.

"Sirius? Come here," James growled at Sirius. Sirius slowly walked over to the other side of the couch where James was sitting. He stood in front of James, an eyebrow raised.

"Stop making Azalea stare at you! Lily is going to get up and leave in a minute! Mate, I don't want her to leave," James told him, staring with hard eyes. Sirius rolled his eyes and glanced back at Azalea.

"It is not my fault! It is like there is something drawing me to her! I can't help it," Sirius whispered back. James sighed and stood up, pushing Sirius back. He walked around the edge of the couch, grabbing Sirius' arm as he passed. Sirius stumbled as he followed James, looking back over his shoulder one last time.

"Ow," Sirius hissed as James dragged him into the corner, "What do you want, James? Why did you drag me over here?" He pulled his arm free of James grip.

"You love her," he stated.

"W-what? Of course not! I am Sirius Black! I do not fall in love," he exclaimed, almost loud enough for Azalea and the others to hear.

"You are also known as Siri," James snorted, "And I know for a fact that Siri is in love. You can deny that Sirius Black is in love all you want. But Siri isn't. You can't deny your love for her." Sirius sighed and rubbed his temple with his index and middle finger.

"Just shut up, okay? I don't know if I love her or not! I know for certain that if I do love her,, then I shouldn't."

"Why not? You love her. What is so wrong about that," James asked, "Why shouldn't you? I love Lily!" Sirius stopped rubbing his temples and glanced at Azalea.

"I know you love Lily, and it is nice that you do, but I can't love Azalea. She wouldn't love me back, even if she does fancy me at the moment. She is going to leave me soon."

"Why," James questioned.

"Because I am no good for her," he replied with a shrug.

"Why," James asked again.

"Because I go and fool around with other girls! Because I haven't chosen her or them yet! Because I am no good for her!"

"Why can't you choose," James continued to push him.

"Because," Sirius murmured, "For once in my life, I am truly scared. I am scared that she won't choose me...I don't want to risk it."

"You don't need to be scared of that mate,"James shook his head, "Take me and Lily, for example. She rejects me every time, but do I stop? No. Am I scared she will reject me? Yes. Yet I face my fear every day."

"I don't know mate," Sirius murmured while shaking his head, "How can I choose her when I am scared of what she will say? And how can I choose other girls if I am scared I will loose Azalea?"
