"It started out not too badly. I thought that I could be a bit more confident if I lost a few pounds, but that soon spiralled out of control. I forgot who I was and what I liked to do. I didn't have any energy to pursue anything that I...

"They're not picking up," Hoseok said.
Jimin sighed. He was getting tired of this. "Why not?"
"How am I supposed to know?"
"Jeez, calm yourself."
Hoseok sniffed. He sat down on the couch next to Jimin. His phone stayed in his hands, the recently called page showing a few unanswered calls to Jin's parents.
"Why do you think... uh, why do you think they're not picking up?"
"I don't know..." Jimin mumbled. Leaning back in the couch, he sighed loudly. "Have you told hyung about this?"
"Yeah, I just casually mentioned that I had tried to call them to him," the dancer said.
"He's going to be heartbroken when he hears about this."
Hoseok nodded. "I feel so bad."
"Let's only bring this up if hyung wants to, okay?" Jimin asked. "Otherwise, don't mention it."
The dancer wanted to say that when Jin did eventually find out, he was probably going to be mad, but he didn't say anything, only agreeing mutely to Jimin's words.

The counseling session was going to start soon and Jonghyun was once again pushing Jin's wheelchair. The nurses had said that in a few days, Jin would be healthy enough to return back to his shared room with Kibum. Jonghyun had told him that they were all excited to see him getting better. Jin wasn't too sure about that.
The others weren't here yet. Kibum had apparently had a meltdown about what to wear and Minho and Taemin were helping him out. Jonghyun didn't know where Jinki was and Jin didn't bother asking.
"What are you planning on doing after you're out of here?" Jonghyun asked, interrupting Jin's thoughts.
"I don't know."
Jin felt his face getting carefully studied by the other man. Jonghyun's eyes lit up after a while.
"You want to release more music don't you?" he asked.
"Yeah, sure, I guess."
"You like music?"
Jin nodded, unsure of what else to say other than agree along to Jonghyun's questions. "Yeah."
"I do too."
"Ah..." Jin mumbled; he didn't really know what to say next. He focused in on the other man's face, noticing his prominent cheek bones and chiseled jawline. How he wished he could have those... how he wished he could ditch his fat face and double chin and have-
"Hey, stop staring at me!" Jonghyun giggled, lightly hitting Jin's shoulder. "I'm not that handsome!"
Giggling lightly to himself too, Jin lowered his head and looked at his hands instead. The joints in the middle of his fingers looked too big and his fingers themselves looked like a skeleton's. Just how he wanted them. He smiled a bit wider. It was so hard seeing improvement sometimes, but it really was there. He pinched the skin on his index finger, wincing when his nails brushed against the bone. He really needed to cut his nails.
