It has been weeks since Alice last had any encounters with Raven's friend, Sabrina, and still, Alice feels that she would not be prepared for to face that Wicked Witch again. Due to their first encounter, Alice was shown a tiny glimpse of Sabrina's power. Sabrina had shown that she was perfectly capable of beating Alice if they were to get into a witch fight. The very thought made Alice nervous. The fact that she was rendered practically useless against Sabrina, made her feel.... weak. And she despised feeling weak.

But, she could worry about that later. Right now, she has work to do. She and the rest of the Lion Guard were chasing after Janja and his hyenas, who were chasing after Twiga and another giraffe. Cheezi looked behind him to see the Lion Guard chasing after them. "Uh, Janja. The Lion Guard's comin'. All of them." He told his leader. Janja looked behind him to see that Cheezi was right, but just chuckled, not worried in the slightest. "Not for long." He said, confident that they'll succeed.

What the Lion Guard didn't know, was that the hyenas didn't come into the Pride Lands by themselves. Ono, who was flying up in the air, heard barking in the distance. He looked to his left to see Reirei and her Jackals chasing after some Pangolins. "Oh no. Reirei's Jackals! They're going after some Pangolins on the Jakula Plains!" He shouted to Kion. "Jakula Plains? That's a long ways away." Beshte pointed out. "Fuli! You and Bunga go help the Pangolins. Ono! Show them the way." Kion gave the orders out. Fuli, Bunga, and Ono then ran towards the direction to the Jakula Plains.

Kion, Beshte, and Alice were left to chase after the hyenas. "Come on, guys. We need to save those Giraffes." Kion told the other two. "Back off, Janja!" He demanded. Janja then looked to two of his hyenas. "You two! Deal with them! And Blackbird, you can come out now. I know you're here. Go have some fun with the Freak." Janja called out. Appearing in a cloud of black smoke, was Raven, grinning and racing towards Alice, with the other two hyenas going after Kion and Beshte. Alice stopped and narrowed her eyes at Raven. Kion and Beshte made short work of the two hyenas. "Kion! Beshte! You two go after Janja. I'll deal with Raven." She called out to them.

Even though he wanted to stay and help his mate, Kion obeyed and chased after Janja, along with Beshte. Janja, Cheezi, and Chungu continued to run after the Giraffes. Janja looked back to see Kion and Beshte chasing after them. He also saw Raven and Alice, clawing and biting at each other in the distance. He then looked to Cheezi and Chungu. "Keep 'em busy, boys!" He commanded them. Cheezi and Chungu slid to a stop, and turned towards the remaining Lion Guard members. Cheezi ran over to Kion, and pounced on him. Chungu charged in, but was sent flying by Beshte. When he turned around, the two hyenas from before came back. "Kion, there's too many of them. Can't you use the roar?" Beshte asked his leader, noticing that they were outnumbered.

Kion had easily taken care of Cheezi, and at Beshte's question, he then looked towards Janja, who was still pursuing the two Giraffes in the distance. "It might hurt Twiga and Jahudi." He answered. He was then taken by surprise by Chungu, and was pinned down.

Janja continued to run after the Giraffes, chuckling to himself. "You can't run forever, Giraffes!" He shouted. "You know, you're right." Said Twiga. She then stopped and kicked her hind legs at Janja, pushing him away. He groaned as he got up off the ground. He knew that he wasn't going to get the Giraffes, so he gave up. "That's enough, fellas! Let's head home!" He shouted to his hyenas. "Uuuuh... okay, Janja." Cheezi said. All the hyenas ran back to the Outlands.

Over with Raven and Alice, the two witches had multiple wounds all over their bodies. Raven had heard what Janja had said, and turned to the Wolf witch. "Until next time, dearie." She said, disappearing in a cloud of black smoke. Alice panted a little bit as that fight had taken a little but out of her. She shook out her fur, and raced over to Kion and Beshte. "That was weird. They just quit." Beshte observed. "Yeah. Even Raven left as soon as Janja did." Alice added. "It's a good thing. They had us way outnumbered." Kion told them. He then looked to his mate, and saw all of the wounds covering her body. What worried him was that they weren't healing as fast as they usually would.
