Kion was walking through the Pride Lands alone, deep in his thoughts. Usually he would be seen with his mate, Alice, but she was currently over in the Outlands visiting Jasiri. Even though he loved Alice, he also had wanted to take some time to think on things. So he had let Alice go and see Jasiri, bringing David with her. The little Wolf had wanted to see Jasiri's niece, Wema, again, and had begged his big sister to bring him with her. Alice agreed to this immediately, knowing exactly why he wanted to see Wema.

So here Kion was. Walking through the Pride Lands thinking. What was he thinking about exactly? He was thinking back to the day Alice had let her inner Wolf out. He couldn't call it her inner beast like she did, because it felt like he was calling her a monster. But when she let it out, and explained to him what caused it, it left him thinking deeply about it. Alice had told him that her father had been more Wolf than human before he met Rose, but he changed just for her. She had also said that she was a lot more like her father than she had thought. So, he had come to this conclusion.

Alice was changing for him.

From when they had first met, Kion had seen that she was not like other Wolves. She had seemed more...... tame, for lack of a better word. But as time went by, she started becoming more Wolf than Human. Even more so after they had become mates. She started to shift to human a whole lot less, only shifting when she was fighting Raven or Sabrina. She started to become more wild and free than she ever was. And it was all because she fell in love with him. Kion himself knew this, because he felt himself changing for her. He used to be a whole lot more rash than he was before. But Alice had seemed to cause him to want to think more rationally.

Alice seemed to make him want to be a better version of himself. And he could not ever thank her enough. If he could thank her in any way, he would do it. She's lived in his world ever since she met him. The least he could was thank her for it. But how? It's not like he could live in her world for a day. Kion then stopped as that thought circled around in his head. 'Wait. Why can't I live in her world? She lives as an animal everyday for me. So, why can't I live one day as human.' He told himself. And that's when an idea came to the surface.

He then ran to Pride Rock, in search of the one witch he knew could help him, without Alice knowing about it yet. He finally made it to Pride Rock in just a minute, thanking Alice once again for turning him into a half-vampire, and he walked up to his mother-in-law, Rose. "Hey, Rose?" He called to her. She looked down to her son-in-law, and she kneeled down to be at his level. "What's up, Kion? Something on your mind?" She asked him. "Can we talk in private for a moment? There's something I want to ask you." Kion told her. Rose nodded her head, and she then engulfed them both in a cloud of light magenta smoke as she teleported them to Hakuna Matata Falls.

"Alright, Kion. What was it you wanted to get off your mind?" She asked him in a motherly tone. Kion hesitated a little bit, but took a deep breath, and let it out before speaking. "I wanted you to make me human." He told her. Rose looked at him in shock for a good long minute. She then shook her head to snap out of it. "I'm sorry. What?" She asked him. "I want you to make me human." Kion repeated. "Okay, so I didn't imagine that. Why would you want me to do that?" Rose asked him, confused. "I'm doing it for Alice." Kion told her. Rose looked even more confused by that. Kion then decided to explain further.

"Alice lives everyday as a Wolf. All for me. She's changing herself for me. So, I want to change for her in return. If she has to live everyday as a Wolf to show me how much she loves me, then why can't I live one day as human to show her how much I love her?" Kion explained to Rose. Rose couldn't help the smile that graced her lips as she listened to his speech. She had no doubt in her mind before that Kion loved her daughter, but now his it's been solidified in her heart and mind that he loves Alice. "Alright, Kion. If this is what you want. A human for a day. You sure about this?" She asked him just to make sure.
