This chapter is going to involve Alice's little brother, David. What's going to happen, is that David is going to accidentally use magic. And that accidental magic is the cause of soooooo much trouble for our adorable couple. Granted it was an accident, but still. Anyway, before I decide to spoil the chapter, let's go.

It was the day after the Lion Guard had been given the wisdom on how to defeat Scar by Kongwe. And so much has happened since Scar came back from hell. So many things that seemed sketchy, were due to him trying to destroy the Pride Lands since his return. Kion wishes he hadn't been the one to tell Simba that Scar had came back. Oh how that was not a very happy moment for Simba.

~Flashback~

It was the morning after Simba had been stung by the scorpion. Even though he still felt a little weak, he was somewhat refreshed. And so, Kion knew that he had tell his father about what had happened. But he didn't feel good about telling him. "Ally, I'm not sure I can do this. Dad is not going to like this. Hell, what if he doesn't even believe it?" Kion asked his Wolf. "Kion, calm down. You're going to give stress yourself out. Just relax. You have to tell him Kion. Like Rafiki said, Simba has to know about this. And if he doesn't believe you, that's where I come. Mom taught how to pull memories from someone, so I can show Simba even if he doesn't believe you. But I doubt he won't believe you." Alice reassured him.

Kion looked at her confused for a moment. "Wait, you're gonna be there with me?" He asked her. "Did you honestly think that I'd let you do this alone? Come on, Kion. You know me better than that." She teased him. Kion smiled at her. "Yeah, I do. Thank you, Ally." He thanked his mate. Alice returned his smile. "Of course. Now let's go potentially give your father a heart attack." She joked to Kion, as they walked to Pride Rock. "Not funny, Alice." Kion replied to that joke, hiding his smile. "Then why are you smiling?" She asked him without looking at him.

Kion looked at her for a minute, but shook his head with a smile. The two continued to walk until they got to Pride Rock. They climbed up, and they walked in the den where they could see Simba, sitting while talking with Timon and Pumbaa. They walked up to him, and Kion greeted his father. "Hey Dad. You feeling well?" He asked his father. "I'm well enough. Though I could be better." Simba replied to his son. Kion nodded his head, but then got nervous when he was about to ask his father to talk. "Dad? Can we talk? Alone?" He asked, nervously.

"Sorry, kids, but Simba's gotta rest after what happened. You can talk to him later." Timon answered for Simba. "It's important, Timon. It involves why Simba got stung in the first place." Alice told the meerkat. Simba looked at Alice surprised, but then nodded his head towards Kion. Kion then led his father and Alice outside of the den, and all three of them went up to the top of Pride Rock. They sat at the top, and looked at the view of the Pride Lands from on top of Pride Rock. Simba then looked to his son, and nodded his head for him to speak.

Kion took a deep breath, and let it out before speaking. "Dad. That scorpion stinging you wasn't a coincidence, and it wasn't an accident. It was planned. When the Guard and I went to the Volcano to get the ash, we...... we saw Scar come out of the flames." He finally got out in spite of his hesitation. Simba's eyes grew wide as Kion explained to him what happened. He really wanted to believe it wasn't true, but his son wasn't a liar. Plus, it made sense. What happened to him couldn't have been a coincidence, or an accident.

Simba sighed as he looked out into the Pride Lands. "Things can't ever just be peaceful, can they?" He asked no one in particular. "I know how you feel, Simba. It seems when things seem to become calm, it all goes to hell. But, I guess that's the balance of life. There can be no true peace without a little chaos to follow. And there can't be any chaos without there being peace." Alice told the Lion King. Kion looked at Alice with a surprised look on his face, while Simba was just surprised with the wisdom that she had just displayed. He smiled at her and ruffled the fur on the top of her head. "Your wiser than you like to show." Simba said to her.
