It was time. It was finally time for Zira to enact her plan. She was going to have her son, Kovu, get into the Pride Lands and use Kiara to force Simba into accepting him into their home. There, he would then kill Simba and then the rest of Zira's Pride would take over.  But first, they needed to take care of anyone that could stop them.

Zira, Nuka, Vitani, and Kovu gathered by a small puddle of water near their home and gazed at it. "Alright, Nuka. As that with, Ria, had stated, put the seashell into the water." Zira commanded her eldest. "Yes, mother. Though I don't know what it'll actually do."  Nuka replied. He then took off the seashell from around his neck and placed it into the puddle. The shell then began to glow purple and shot out of the puddle and levitated above the puddle. Zira grinned as she couldn't wait for her plan to begin.

~ In the Outlands ~

The joined hyena clans slept peacefully in the early morning right before the sun was about to come up. Jasiri slept next to Cameron and snuggled closer to him now and again. But her dreams weren't ones of peace. She saw waves of purple energy sweep across the land. And then she saw them sweep over Rose, over Daniel, and even over little David. But they never woke up.

Jasiri jolted awake and instantly felt a sense of danger. She then shook Cameron awake. "Angel! Cameron, wake up!" She exclaimed urgently. "Ugh, what …?" Cameron yawned from being woken up. "Jasiri, what’s wrong?"

"Cameron! We have to find Raven and Janja, and then we have to get away from the Pride Lands! Away from the Outlands!" Jasiri warned him, trying to portray how urgent the situation was. "W-What?" Cameron was wide awake now. "Why?"

"I don't have time to explain! We have to get Raven and Janja and go! Please!" Jasiri begged to her mate. "Okay, okay… you go grab Raven, I’ll get Janja," Cameron said, getting up. They split up to gather up the two and met back up despite that they were still too sleepy to be awake. "Why the hell did you wake us up so damn early?" Raven growled sleepily. Ignoring her and Janja for now, Jasiri spoke up to Cameron. "Get us out of here! Quickly!" She told her mate. Cameron nodded his head and closed his eyes as his golden gem began to glow on his head. As shadows began to sweep across the four of them, they suddenly found themselves miles and miles away from the Pride Lands and the Outlands.

“Where are we?” Janja asked. “What’s goin’ on?”

“Believe me… we’d all like to know,” Raven said suspiciously. Jasiri took a deep breath to calm herself before explaining. "So... Let me get this straight. You had a vision about waves of energy sweeping over our home and the Pride Lands. And saw Rose and her family in a deep sleep that they couldn't wake up from? Are you sure that-" Raven said.

Before she could finish her question, she, Cameron, and Jasiri felt something in the direction of their home. The dark lioness walked a few steps closer and tried to feel for what it was. "That's... That feels like the sleeping curse." Raven said with surprise. "You mean like the one you put an Alice?" Janja asked curiously. "Not exactly, but it's similar. It feels more temporary than the actual curse." The dark lioness replied to her mate. "But… who would wanna put everyone under that same sort of curse?" Cameron asked.

Raven closed her eyes and tried to focus on finding the magical signature. She found it immediately and snarled furiously as she recognized it. "Ria." She growled out the name like it was venom. "Oh no…" Jasiri gasped. "We gotta do somethin’!" Janja pointed out. "If Alice finds out her family’s in danger and we did nothin’, she’ll never let us forget it!"

"Great priorities there, Janja. She really scared you into submission, didn't she?" Cameron jabbed at his friend. "Hey, I can’t help it!" Janja said. "After Zuri betrayed Kiara and Tiifu, I ain’t takin’ no chances!"
