Hello, everyone. It's 12112685a and I back at it again with a brand new chapter of the Lion Guard. This one will probably be another long one, so let's keep the intro short. On with the story.

The sun had just risen as the Night Pride led the Lion Guard and the Witches Coven to the Tree of Life, and both groups were just marveling at the sight of the giant tree before them. It was most definitely the single biggest tree any of them have ever seen. of course, none of them were as amazed to see it, then their very own plant witch, Maua.

The little hyena girl walked up to the tree and placed a paw on one of its roots, sensing the energy from it. "Poa. The Tree of Life is huge!" Beshte said with a big smile. "Yes, it is. And you're not the only one who thinks so." Rani pointed out, smiling at the little hyena girl. Alice walked up to Maua, and chuckled as she could feel the girl's heart soar with adoration for the tree. "Pretty big, huh?" The Wolf Princess asked the young hyena. "uh huh. I don't even think any magic I can conjure up could make a tree this big." Maua admitted, still looking awestruck at the Tree of Life. "Well, you are still young. You can get stronger with enough time, darling." Alice replied back, letting the pup know that a lot can change with time.

Maua thought on this for a second, and smiled to herself. "Yeah... I guess you're right." She acknowledged what her friend said, liking the idea of finding out what she was capable of doing. Rani then interjected to gain everyone's attention back to her. "Alright, everyone. Follow me." She beckoned them to follow her into the tree. "Whatever you say, Princess." Alice said sarcastically, brushing past the leader of the Night Pride with her cubs. Rani looked at the Wolf with narrowed, frustrated eyes, but didn't reply back. She merely led everyone else inside, and the Guard and the Coven were awed by the inside. "Hevi Kabisa." Kion muttered to himself as he looked around.

"Wow. The inside of this tree even glows." Dali commented as she gaped at the trees interior. "It's the mushrooms on the walls and roots of the tree that give off their own illumination. They even smell like fruit too, but I wouldn't recommend eating them." Maua suggested and informed her friends. "Pffft. You would know that, huh?" Giza teased the hyena pup. Maua rolled her eyes as she raised her left paw, and "blew a kiss" as little flowers were flung at the winged panther's nose, eliciting a sneeze from her. "Why, you little-" Giza was going to say. "Guys! We're about to meet royalty. Can we please behave ourselves?" Dali scolded the two of them. "Dali, Kion and I are royalty. This won't be any different." Alice reminded the fox kit with a chuckle. "Yes it will. You and Kion know us, and you're chill. We're meeting a Queen!" Dali shot back, fur getting puffy due to her anxiousness.

"Heh heh, don't you worry, kit. The Queen is the kindest lion you'll ever meet. And I know she's gonna love all y'all." Mikey reassured Dali, nudging her with a smile. Dali looked up at the older, redder fox, and gave him a smile in return. "Thanks, Mikey. I.... I just wanted to make a good first impression." She admitted to him. "Well, that's okay. But just member that ya don't have to act a certain way, kit. Jus be yerself." Mikey told her in a soft voice, reaching his right paw to rub her head. He was then surprised when she flinched away from his paw, but then swiftly shook her head. He was just about to question if she was okay, when she turned to him with a foxy grin. "I really appreciate your reassurance, Mikey. Thank you." She thanked him, before continuing their walk. Mikey was still confused about what happened, but left it alone for now.

They arrived at the end of the tunnel and into Queen Janna's chamber, and Rani led the others up to her. "Grandmother. As requested, I have brought Kion, the Lion Guard, and the Witches Coven. Lion Guard and Witch Coven? This is Queen Janna, Guardian of the Tree of Life." Rani introduced the other to her grandmother. Janna then smiled and nodded to them. "Be welcome here." She told them in a soft, yet grovel voice. Kion and the others then proceeded to bow to the Queen as a show of respect. "Thank you, Your Majesty. My friend, Ono, and my mate, Alice and I have come to be healed." Kion explained to her. "Step closer, Kion and Ono." Janna called them to step up to her. Kion, Alice, and Ono did as she said, and Queen Janna examined them, and noticed the roaring lions on their shoulders and wing. "You have the Mark of the Guard. You are from the Pride Lands then?" She asked them, eyeing Alice a little bit more.
