It's been weeks since Jasiri had been turned into a half vampire, and the hyena has never felt more alive and free. If she had known what it felt like beforehand, she would've asked Alice to bite her a long time ago. Though, she had been very nervous when she had to tell her sister, Madoa, what had happened, and why she had changed.

~Flashback~

Alice, Kion, and Jasiri had been racing each other through the Outlands to get to Jasiri's home. Of course, Alice came in first place, while Kion and Jasiri tied. Now they were walking closer to where Jasiri's clan stayed, and the closer they got, the more nervous Jasiri was getting. Sensing her friend's distress, Alice looked to the anxious hyena. "Siri? You okay?" She asked, worry laced in her voice. Jasiri stopped and turned to her Wolf sister. Her face held the expression of nervousness, and a little bit of fear.

"I'm fine, Red. It's just that I'm maybe..... just a tiny bit....... terrified." She answered hesitantly. Kion looked surprised by the answer the hyena gave them. "You? Terrified? Of what?" He asked her. "I'm............. afraid that my clan will see me differently. And.......... I'm afraid that Madoa might become upset by this." She answered honestly, moving her eyes towards the ground. Alice's ears pinned themselves down when she heard that, and once again, she felt shame for what she had done.

She was about to apologize once again, but as soon as she opened up her mouth, Jasiri beat her to it. "Red, If I hear you utter a single word that even remotely sounds like an apology, I'm going to throw you up in the air. There's nothing that you need to apologize for. You saved my life, Alice. And yes, I may be afraid to see Madoa's reaction to this, but I will not allow you to shame yourself for saving my life." She told her Wolf sister firmly. Alice saw the finality in her hyena sister's eyes, and relented. She gave a grateful smile to the hyena. "Thank you, Siri." She thanked. "No, thank you. You saved me. I am literally forever in your debt." Jasiri joked, eliciting a laugh from the Wolf.

Kion smiled at Jasiri, and he nodded to her in thanks for comforting his mate. Jasiri nodded back with a smile of her own. "Well, now that we're finished here, let's go tell my sister that I drink blood now." She joked once again. The three then made their way to Jasiri's clan, and found Madoa watching over her pups. She looked to see Kion, Alice, and Jasiri walking up to her, and she jumped off her perch to greet them. "There you two are. I was beginning to worry. And Kion, it's good to see you." She said to the three of them.

"Sorry, Madoa. We...... kinda had a little bit of trouble while were out talking." Jasiri told her sister neverously. Madoa looked concerned when she heard that, and opened her mouth to ask, when Wema had spoken up. "Oooooooo, Jasiri. You have the same pretty eyes Alice has." She said in amazement. Madoa heard what her daughter had said, and she looked at Jasiri's eyes to confirm that they had changed to the same blood red that Alice and Kion shared. "Jasiri? What happened?" She asked her sister.

Jasiri sighed. She had wanted to ease her sister into it, but that was out of the question now. She then began to explain what had happened with Janja and his hyenas attacking them, up until she collapsed. Alice and Kion took over from there, with Alice finishing the explanation up by telling her that she had turned Jasiri into a half vampire. She waited for Madoa to say something, almost not catching onto Jasiri's nervous fidgeting.

When she heard them explaining what had happened, her face took on many expressions. Anger at Janja for daring to attack both her sisters. Horrified by hearing that Jasiri almost died. Gratefulness towards Kion for helping protect her sisters. And finally, shock at hearing Alice tell her that Jasiri was a vampire now. She took a while to process all of what she was told. While she was processing, Alice and Jasiri held expressions of anxiousness, but for different reasons. For Jasiri, she was anxiously waiting for what Madoa was going to say. The silence was literally deafening.
