After having a day or two of rest, Alice was back to being at full health. While Kion was off hunting, Alice and Fuli stayed behind to watch the cubs. Fehda and Snow were currently having a tiny argument with each other, while Dali and Langara playing tag.

"How could you ask something like that?! And why now, Fehda?!" Snow shouted at her sister. "It was just a question! And besides, as the oldest, I think it's an appropriate time to ask if Alice is truly good or not?" Fehda said in a chill, calm tone of voice. "It's only by a few seconds! And seconds don't even count!" Snow replied with a shout. "My point still stands! As your older sister, It's my job to protect you! So a 'thank you' would be greatly appreciated!" Fehda started to shout, losing her cool. "I don't need your protection! Especially from an insensitive jerk, who likes to call her insensitivity, 'mature'." Snow argued.

"It is mature! Did you forget about some of the things she's done?!" Fehda yelled. "She did them because others either personally made her angry, or they were doing something they shouldn't!" Snow pointed out.

Alice wanted to interfere, but the things Fehda were saying gave her pause. It wasn't that she disagreed with what she was saying. On the contrary, the Wolf was agreeing with everything she was saying. And that's why she was silent. She did appreciate Snow defending her, but Fehda was right. Snow did have some good points, but this wasn't a situation where the good outweighed the bad. It was the reverse.

So Alice just sat her head on her paws, and looked away from everyone. She let out a silent and defeated sigh as her droopy ears listened to the Twins conversation.

Fuli was also watching this from her little perch, and was a little worried. Why you may ask? For a couple of reasons. Alice being the main source.

One of those reasons being that Alice would usually get angry when someone mentioned her past actions. So when the Twins argument had started, she had been preparing to rush to the cubs aid. But Alice hadn't gotten angry. She just listened to the conversation. Fuli should've been surprised by this, but she really wasn't.

Alice has always loved cubs and other baby animals. Like that time a baby monkey had gotten attached to Fuli. Alice had helped Fuli watch the little guy, and the baby got attached to her as well. Fuli had seen the way Alice was so gentle and caring to it, playing with it when it wanted to have some fun. She'll never say it out loud, but Fuli had been a little jealous that the monkey had liked Alice so much.

So it didn't surprise Fuli when Alice didn't get angry at Fehda and Snow. But that led to the other reason Fuli was worried about.

Alice was currently laying down, still listening to the cubs argue, but she looked like she wanted dig a hole and bury herself in it. Fuli knew for a fact that even though Alice had done a lot of bad things in her anger, as soon as that anger disappeared, she instantly regretted her actions after reflecting back on them. The only problem was Alice wouldn't talk to anyone about it. She just buried the emotions deeper, instead of letting them out. And she was doing the same right here and now.

Fuli knew there was no point in asking the Wolf to talk, Alice would just brush it off. So she continued to listen while keeping an eye on Dali and Langara as well.

"That still doesn't justify the way she decides to act! She goes too far!" Fehda yelled at her Twin. "Like no one else has gone too far when they were angry! You of all people should know this! Like that time you overreacted when-" Snow was going to say, but her sister growled at her. "Don't. Say. His name." Fehda demanded her twin. Snow didn't falter in the slightest at her sister's demand. "When Kodi showed you just what jerk he really was. And you, o sister of mine, for once didn't see it at first. But when you found out, you went crazy. You've become a real hypocrite, you know." Snow said to Fehda.
