Helloooooooo, everyone. It's your dear author again, back with another chapter for you. I really appreciate all of you who have read this far into this weird book that I've made, I love you guys for that. And you guys should also show your love to 12112685a, for helping me write this chapter. Thank you so much, my dude. Anyway, chapter time.

A few weeks had passed since meeting the Lion Guard, but Langara was already loving every second she was with them. She took whatever time was needed to get to know each and every one of them. And though she loved each and every one of them, her favorite had to be Fuli.

The Cheetah always went out of her way to make sure that she felt safe and happy. She heard through the others that Fuli usually wasn't known for showing her soft side, but it seems the Snow Leopard cub just brought it out of her. Langara felt like the little sister she never knew that she wanted.

But, for some reason, she felt like the Leopard cub was hiding something. Fuli would sometimes notice that Langara would look away from her or someone else sometimes, but then when asked about it, she would turn around and smile with her eyes closed, and tell them that she was fine. Then Langara would run off during the night time, saying that she was gonna go on a solo hunt, or wake up when she thought nobody else was in the morning, and run off.

Fuli wanted to follow her, just to see if she was okay, but she let her have her privacy. But the more she saw the cub do this, the more curious she got.

And we all know what curiosity does for a feline.

So one early morning, Fuli awoke before anyone else, including Langara. She watched as the young Snow Leopard's eyes flutter open. She then let out an adorable yawn, and proceeded to get up and stretch. She then looked at the rest of her friends, not noticing that Fuli was looking right at her. She then took a deep breath, and ran off down a snowy path. Fuli then got up herself, and followed after Langara. She followed after friend for about a few minutes, but stopped when she heard something behind her.

She swiftly turned around with a low growl, not wanting whatever was following her to be a threat to Langara as well. She calmed down, however, when she saw that it was Alice following her. "Alice? What are you doing here?" Fuli asked the Wolf Princess. "I'm here for the same reason you are, darling. You're not the only one who's noticed our Leopard friend's strange behavior." Alice told her friend, walking up to her. "So why haven't you just blatantly asked her about it, just like you say everything else nowadays?" Fuli asked the Wolf, annoyed that she never mentioned this.

"Probably the same reason why you didn't. You don't want to force Langara into a situation she wouldn't like, and neither do I." Alice answered in the blatant way Fuli mentioned. Fuli looked at her friend for a minute, but then sighed as she realized that she shouldn't be trying to test her friend by starting something with her. "I'm sorry, Alice. I just want to figure out why Gara is being so secretive, but I don't wanna seem pushy. Why doesn't she just tell us what's really going on?" She asked to no one in particular.

"Well,...... I have only a theory, darling. But.......... I need more." Alice answered, deep in thought. "Well, anyway, we should get going before we lose her." And with that, Alice ran past her. Fuli soon followed after the Wolf witch, and they looked for their Snow Leopard friend. "Hey, wait up!" She called afterward. Alice then stopped the Cheetah, when they saw their friend.
They found Langara at the edge of a cliff, twiddling a snowball in her paws.

The Wolf witch then gestured for Fuli to stay where she was, while she walked out to where the Snow Leopard cub would see her. "Hello, darling. What're doing up so early?" Alice asked Langara. The Leopard cub jumped, startled by Alice's voice, and looked to her Wolf friend. "Oh, Alice. Please don't scare me like that. I nearly had a heart attack." Langara told the Wolf, breathing a sigh of relief, yet still nervous. "Sorry about that, darling. Now, about my question. What are you doing out here by yourself? Can't be just to play in the snow. It's not as fun without your friends." Alice asked again.
