Hello, Hello, Hellooooooo. I am your beloved author. I'M BAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!! Anyway, back to our lovely group and lovable odd couple. Here, I'll introduce you to a few new characters. On with the story!!!

The Lion Guard and Makini were making their way up the snowy mountain. The day previous had started with a small snow fall, but today was nothing but clear sky. Personally, Alice was thanking the Moon Goddess that it wasn't snowing anymore. They didn't need anything else delaying them. She just wanted to go to the Tree of Life, get rid of this darkness in her heart, and for things to go back to normal.

'Normal? Darling, I think you're completely denying the fact that nothing is ever going to be normal again. You made sure of that.' Said the voice. 'Would you please just leave me alone? Don't you think you're causing enough trouble as it is?' Alice replied to the voice.

This had become a common occurrence for the Wolf witch. She would converse with the voice in her head, and try to get it to leave her alone. But the voice would always remind Alice that she created it, and that it wasn't going away just because she wants it too. 'No. I haven't caused enough trouble. I'm just getting started, darling.' Replied the voice. Alice rolled her eyes at this, and tried not to get frustrated. Which was a whole lot harder for her now. 'Will you at least let me know what voice you are, or what your purpose is?' She asked the voice, pleading with it.

'You'll find out soon enough.' Was all that it said. Alice gave a low growl at that, but tried to shove down her anger. "How much longer are we going keep moving, Kion? The others won't be able to keep on going like we can." She addressed to the Lion Prince. "We can keep going. Just keep on moving." Kion replied stubbornly. Alice raised her eyebrow at this, her tail swaying in a way that suggested she was annoyed. "Kion, darling, I would really watch what I was saying if I were you." She warned him.

Kion stopped and turned towards her. He then started to rub at his scar in discomfort. He then looked at her with narrowed eyes. "Is that a threat?" He said more than asked. "Oh trust me, darling, if I was threatening you, you would know." Alice told him with a menacing tone of voice. Kion then walked up to her with a glare on his face. "Shall we test that?" Kion asked her. Alice then gave him a glare of her own. "Makini? I would give this pussy cat Tuliza before he makes me do something I'll regret later." She addressed to the female mandrill.

"Regret? *scoff* You sure you even know the meaning of the word, Alice?" Kion asked the Wolf witch. That seemed to be the trigger for Alice, as she began to growl at the Lion Prince. The Lion Guard watched what was going on, and decided to split the two apart. "Alright you two, break it up." Fuli said, pushing Kion back firmly. "Yeah. You two are better than this. So act like it." Anga scolded the Wolf and the Lion. "I will, if she does." Kion told them, earning a snarl from the Wolf. But before the situation could escalate, they all heard the sound of a twig snapping in the distance.

They looked around, searching for whatever could've made that sound. "Wh-what was that? Makini asked nervously. "I don't know. But it it would seem we're not alone. At least, that's what it feels like." Fuli answered, looking around. "Yeah, but I don't see anything." Bunga pointed out. Alice looked around the area, and couldn't spot anything out of the ordinary. 'Strange. That sounded like it was close, and yet, nothing to be seen.' She thought to herself. She did get the feeling that they weren't alone though. But before she could say or do anything, it had started to snow.

She looked up into the sky, and saw the snowflakes slowly falling down from the sky. But that wasn't what puzzled her. "Curiouser and curiouser." Alice mumbled to herself.(😉) What is it, Alice?" Fuli asked the Wolf witch. "This snow. It feels......... unnatural." Alice answered. "What do you mean?" Asked Ono. "I just....... have a really strange feeling about this. I think we should keep on going." The Wolf witch replied. "C'mon, guys. Let's go." Kion ushered them to continue on their path.
