Here we are everyone. Chapter 28 of LG:TPWATFL. In this chapter, Alice will be faced with tough decisions. And once she makes her choices, she won't be able to take it back. Okay, no more spoilers. Let's do this.

The sun shone brightly down on the Pride Lands on this beautiful morning. And some of it's animals were still getting up and ready to start the day. Some, but not all. Some were already up and active. Some being Alice and Fuli, who were about to race around the Pride Lands. They stood just below Pride Rock, getting ready for the race. "You may be fast, Alice, but I'm the Fastest in the Pride Lands. You'll be lucky to even get an inch closer to me." Fuli playfully taunted the Wolf.

"You must be really overconfident if you're talking like you've already won. You never know, Fuli. This could be my lucky day." Alice told the Cheetah. "If that's what you need to tell yourself." Fuli rebutted with a smirk. While the girls went back and forth, the guys were making bets on who was going to win the race. "If anyone of them is gonna to win, it's gonna be Fuli." Bunga said with confidence. "I don't know, Little B. Maybe Alice might beat Fuli this time." Beshte told the Honey Badger.

"I'm not so sure about that. Cheetahs are the fastest animals on land. Common knowledge really." Ono informed them, taking Fuli's side. "That is true. For normal animals, Ono. But Alice is a not only a vampire, but she's also a werewolf. Which means that Fuli doesn't stand a chance." Kion told the Egret. "Hey! We're about to start!" Fuli shouted to the boys. Ono flew next to them, acting as referee. "Alright, you two. You two will race around the Pride Lands, starting and finishing here at Pride Rock. Get into position." Ono told the girls.

Alice and Fuli then got into their running stances. They both glanced at each other, playfully narrowing their eyes at each other. "On your mark. Get set and......... GO!" Ono shouted. And Alice and Fuli were gone in the blink of an eye. They dashed through the fields with Fuli in the lead. Alice was catching up to the Cheetah, but they had already gone halfway around the Pride Lands. Fuli had great stamina, but Alice knew that she had better stamina than the Cheetah. 'Even though Fuli has grown up a little, she'll still get tired before I do. I hope.' She thought to herself.

She should've been hoping a lot harder than she was. They had already finished going around the Pride Lands, and were heading towards Pride Rock. Alice saw that she was an inch behind Fuli was. This caused the Wolf to start growling. She did not want this race to end with her losing, or a tie. What she didn't notice was that her eyes had started glowing red, but unlike all those other times, her necklace wasn't glowing with it. Her fangs had also enlarged as well. She blanked out for a minute, and she then zoomed past Fuli.

When Fuli had looked back to see Alice an inch behind her, but not getting closer to her, she thought that she might finally win this race. 'Finally. A race where me and Alice don't tie against each other. I'm gonna win this.' She told herself. She smirked and she went back to looking forward. She saw Pride Rock in sight, and her smirk turned into a grin. Just then, a black and red blur zoomed past her, and ran straight towards Pride Rock. "What?!" She exclaimed. She was so shocked, that she kept running at a slower pace, but then snapped out of her trance, and put on a burst of speed.

But it was too late.

Alice was still in her trance like state, running and snarling towards Pride Rock. The Wolf in her wasn't going to let her lose this race. Neither was the vampire side of her. And now it seems that these two sides were working together, making her stronger, faster, and much more wild. She got closer to Pride Rock, and she slid to a stop. A minute later, Fuli arrived at Pride Rock after her, panting in exhaustion. Alice knew she had won, and let out a howl that was heard and echoed throughout the Pride Lands.
