Hello, everybody. Welcome back to the Purest Wolf series. And once again, my friend 12112685a helped write this chapter, and added another of his OC's. Give them some love and a round of applause everyone. And with that, let's get started.

The Lion Guard were walking through a desert terrain, and the heat was devastating. They were all getting tired, but continued to move forward.

Bunga stopped for a second to wipe his forehead with his arm, and continued walking afterwards. Alice had the Twins walk under her body so that she can shield them from the heat. Kion was ahead of the group, but he wasn't doing too good. His scar had started to bother him, and he rubbed at it to try and ease the pain. His vision began to get blurry, but he tried to shake it away. Alice wasn't doing so well either.

The heat wasn't making her feel all that fatigued, but it was making her frustrated. Her eyes would flash dark red now and again, but she'd try and shake the frustration away. Fuli looked to Alice, and spoke up. "You doin' okay, Alice? You don't look too good." She asked her Wolf friend. Alice glared at the Cheetah, and was about to snap at her. But she then remembered the promise she made to Fehda and Snow, and took a deep breath. "I'll be fine, Fuli. Really, don't worry about it." She said gently.

Fuli was surprised by this, but nodded hee head. She then glanced over to Kion to see how he was doing. The dirt beneath his right paw was so dry, it collapsed and tripped him. "Kion!" Fuli exclaimed. Makini then went over to help him out. "Here, let me help you." She said to him, but he shoved her away. "I don't need help. I'm fine. Let's just keep walking." He told her, and walked ahead. Fuli then went over to Makini, and whispered to her. "Looks like Kion could use some Tuliza." She whispered to the Mandrill.

Kion hears this, and turned to the two. "What?! I said I'm fine!" He told them. "See, he's fine." Bunga commented. "Makini?" Fuli looked to the female Mandrill. "Tuliza comin' up." Makini told to the Cheetah, getting her gourd out. When she opened it, she saw nothing inside. "Oh." She said. "Don't tell me." Fuli said, ears dropping in annoyance. "I really need to do a better job of keeping track of the Tuliza we have." Makini said to herself. "Isn't that just a pleasant surprise." Alice commented to herself sarcastically. "Out of Tuliza again?" Anga asked the female Mandrill. Makini nodded her head, and Anga spread her wings to fly up in the air. "I'll find some." She told them.

"Let's just hope Kion doesn't decide to roar before we find Tuliza." Fuli said, moving over to Beshte and Ono. "The journey through the desert has been hard on everyone." Ono told the Cheetah. "At least nobody's too thirsty." Beshte commented. "Thirsty?! Water! Water!!! I'm so thirsty!" Bunga exclaimed dramatically. Alice then took a deep breath, and let it out to alleviate some of the irritation. "Bunga? Let me give you some advice about Vampires. Don't talk about thirst in their presence, lest you become their snack." She told him, narrowing her eyes at him. Meant to be a threat or not, that is exactly how it sounded.

"Well, except maybe for Bunga." Beshte said to Fuli. "Yeah. I just hope Alice isn't." Fuli commented, keeping her eye on the Wolf. "I'm sure she'll be fine. Just so long as Bunga doesn't continue to annoy her." Langara pointed out, trying to lighten the mood. Bunga then continued to complain about how dry it was. "It's like there's a whole desert in my mouth." He said before running to his friends. He pulled out his tongue to show them how 'dry' it was. "See? Dry as a sand dune." His friends were barely able to catch. "Put that thing away." Fuli said, annoyed.

Bunga then turned towards Kion and Alice, running to them. "Kion! Alice! Kion! Alice! Wanna see?!" He asked them, only adding to their ire. They both turned around with their fangs bared, causing Bunga to jump back and fall on his back. "Bunga." They both hissed angrily. "Sorry!!!" Bunga quickly apologized. Fuli then ran in between the three of them, and spoke to the Lion and Wolf duo. "Kion. Alice, calm down you two. Bunga was just foolin' around." She told them, trying to assure them that everything was alright. "Yeah. It was just Bunga being Bunga." Beshte helped Fuli out. Kion immediately calmed himself down, and sat down. "Sorry everybody. Sorry, Bunga." He apologized. Alice sighed before speaking up too. "Me too. Sorry, Bunga." She apologized afterwards.
