Annnnnnd welcome back to another chapter of the Purest Wolf book, everyone. Now, for all of you who haven't seen Season 3 of the Lion Guard, SPOILERS. Just forewarning you. Also, get ready to say goodbye to one of my OC's, because they won't be seen in the rest of the book. But anyway, onto the story.

After Raven and Alice returned to their animal forms, and Cameron introduced himself to Jasiri, the female hyena had walked up to talk to Kion and Alice. "Jasiri. What's going on?" He asked, confused as to why Janja was here. "I know it sounds odd, but I think you should hear what Janja has to say." Jasiri told him. "Janja. What brings you here?" Simba asked the hyena, a little bit suspicious. "I uhhh, know some stuff that might be helpful." Janja said, a bit nervous to be talking to the King of the Pride Lands. "Helpful how?" Simba asked. "I know how to defeat Scar. And so does Raven." Janja told the Lion King.

Kion and Simba shared a glance before looking back to Janja. "And why should we believe you? A sworn enemy of the Pride Lands?" Simba asked the hyena leader. Raven let out a small growl as she glared at the King of the Pride Lands. Alice cleared her throat to gain the Lioness witch's attention, and she mouthed the words 'Calm down' to her. Raven took a deep breath, and settled for glaring at the Lion King. "Go on." Jasiri encouraged Janja. "Uhhh, well, s-" He was going to start, but Raven cut him off. "Before you even start to sing, because I know you were just about to, just let me say it. Sisi ni sawa. We're the same, as Jasiri and Alice puts it. You're welcome, Janja." Raven said, knowing he would've embarrassed himself by singing the song.

"Blackbird, I was gonna explain it to them." Janja groaned with a pout. "Noooo, you were gonna sing it to them. I know you were." Raven said with a teasing look in her eyes. "Even I knew you were going to sing it Janja." Alice snickered a little bit. "And Janja, I meant to tell Simba what you know." Jasiri reminded Janja while giving him an amused smirk. "Ooo, yeah yeah, right!" Janja said with a blush, realizing that he had been about to embarrass himself. "No offense, Jasiri, but it is difficult for me to believe that Janja and Raven have changed sides." Simba said to the female hyena.

"Well, you better believe it you royal pain in the-" Raven was about to insult, but was interrupted. "Ahem!" Alice cleared her throat once again, giving Raven a chastising look. Raven let out a low growl before taking some more deep breaths. 'God, I'm gonna need to learn to control my anger from now on.' She thought to herself. "Your Highness, you gave me a chance a chance when no one else in the Pride Lands would. If Janja and Raven's information is useful, we should use it to defeat Scar." Makuu advised to the King. "Makuu has a point, Simba. Despite everything that Janja and Raven have done, if they want to change, then we have to give them that chance." Alice added to Simba, agreeing with Makuu.

"And if their information isn't useful, then we crocodiles will be happy to have them for late night snacks." Makuu said, walking up to Janja and Raven. He then gave a low growl to Janja to emphasize his point, causing Janja to audibly gulp in fear. Makuu then stood stock still as his eyes started glowing a dark grey color. Everyone looked to Raven, who was glaring at the crocodile with glowing eyes. "I would advise against that, Makuu. Trust me when I say, you don't want to know what I would do to you if you even touch Janja. So be a good boy, lie down, and take a nap." She commanded him. And without protest, Makuu did just that. Raven's eyes stopped glowing, and she returned to the conversation.

Only for all eyes to be on her. "What? I don't take kindly to threats. Especially to those I care for. And he's only asleep. When did making someone fall asleep become such a bad thing?" She asked. Alice, Kion, Rose, and Simba gave her a look that gave her the answer. She winced as she remembered what she had did to Alice. "Oh. Right. The apple. Makuu will be fine. He'll be up after his tiny nap." She dismissed, wanting to get back to the Scar situation. Kion then turned to his father. "Makuu and Alice are right though, Dad. If Jasiri and Ally believe Raven and Janja have changed, then I think we should at least hear what they have to say." He told his father.
