Welcome back, readers. We're now go back to the Pride Lands, and this time we focus on David and his two friends. I won't say anything other than that. So, without further ado, let's go.

"David, are you gonna tell me what's bugging you, or are you just gonna sit up there in silence?" Rose asked her son. David had been thinking deeply on one thing for most of the morning, all the way to early afternoon. He had been sitting in the same spot on the ceiling of the den, sitting cross legged in his human form, wearing nothing but shorts and his new necklace.

The magic lessons he had with his Mother have apparently come to an end, with Rose telling him that she's taught him all he needs to know. And as a reward for his efforts, she had made him a pendant for him to wear. It was a silver pendant of a howling wolf.

But what was on his mind right now, was a way for him to confess to Wema how he was truly feeling towards her

But what was on his mind right now, was a way for him to confess to Wema how he was truly feeling towards her. He wanted it to be special, and was going through the things that the female hyena liked. She liked to do a lot of running, but a confession wouldn't be something to bring up while she was out of breath, so he discarded that idea. Wema also liked to play tricks on others, but he already planned to do that as soon as he gets out of the den.

And plus, that isn't really romantic. At least, he didn't think she would find that romantic. He was so deep in thought, that he almost missed what his Mom was asking him again. "David Ivory Jackson, are you even listening to me?" Rose asked, flying in front of his face. David snapped out of his thoughts, and looked at his Mothers bat form. "Oh! Sorry, Mom. I-I'm fine. Just doing a lot of thinking." He answered her. "About?" Rose asked, looking at her upside down son's face. "Uhh........ About Wema." He told her honestly. Rose gasped, and couldn't contain her excitement. "Oh, what do you need?! Advice? Are you trying to tell her something important? What is it?" She asked frantically.

David wanted to hide or dig a deep hole and bury himself. His Mother could get overly excited sometimes. "Well,.... you're right when you asked if it was important. I....... I wanna tell Wema how I feel." He told her. He then had to cover his Wolf ears with his hands when Rose let out a loud squeal. "Finally! I can't wait to hear all about it. You are gonna tell me, right?" She asked him, giving him that look all Mothers give their children when they wanna know something. "I will, but I don't know how I'm gonna do it. I want it to be special for Wema, but I can't think about what I can do. I have magic at my disposal, and yet, I can't think of a what to do. It's frustrating." David ranted to her, ears folding back in irritation.

"Hmm. Have you thought about maybe bringing her to the Pride Lands to have a small meal during the night time?" Rose asked him. David raised an eyebrow in a "really" look, which looked funny upside down. "What? Yes, it's a bit cliche, but it still works. Plus, night time is always the perfect time of day that sets the mood." She told him cheekily. "Mom!!!" David exclaimed, hair turning a light gray in embarrassment. But then his eyes went wide as an idea came to him. "Star gazing." He muttered to himself.
