Last chapter, the story first went back to Metallic and Amandeath, who were starting to prepare to fight Restroid in hiding. Afterwards, we saw Seric who is doing even worse than before after Marlox's death- and after reading some strict rules Habram has in place for humans.
We then saw Prósopsi leading his Commanders on a hunt to find "Hopian's Cannibal", so that they could potentially help the Hopian Army find King Metallica. However- little did Prósopsi know that the "person" he was hunting down is an alien, and the one who killed Habram's wife...
Inside Metallic and Amandeath's anonymous motel room...
Metallic's P.O.V.
*CLICK- BANG- ZZZZZZ!*
I continue to work hard on my repairs as I've been doing for the past few hours. More specifically- I'm trying to fix up this S.U.P.E.R. awful new arm of mine that jams up every few times I swing it. I appreciate our old aquaintance Marlox for buying me a new arm in the first place- but G.O.D. is it horrid!
...ACK- I shouldn't say that, using the Lord's name in vain is forbidden... ah! YASHASHASHA silly me, I don't care about those lousy Five 'Kings' anymore- so I'm free to say that word as I please!
"...Hey- you got any earplugs in that purse of yours Metallic? I get that you need to fix yourself up but- your repairs are loud as hell and its 4 AM, and I need at least like 8 hours of sleep to function tommorow." Amandeath says in a muffled tone, oh no I forgot about my new Lord's slumber! So I look over to her bed with my head that I fixed up a tad, to where I can see her own black haired noggin sticking out of the thin sheets on her bed. She looks cozy in there, however she is also stuffing her face into her pillow- that could be a risk for suffucation!
"So sorry about that pal- I'll stop ASAP! I'm just so used to having my own room on Seric's ship is all I suppose, no one ever heard me there. And hmm... earplugs... I don't believe I packed any in the purse I took with me. Perhaps me working in the washroom would stop your sharp ears from hearing my tools?" I respond as I lean forward and grab the feminine leather bag that's storing all of my tools- tossing many things out of it to truly make sure I don't have any plugs for the ears in it.
"It's cool. And nah I doubt the washroom would help. Ah... wait no, not like you could work outside either since that would make you look really sketchy. Though I guess you are in disguise to look like a worker robot... maybe you could work outside then. ...K I'll test you. Metallic- what would you do if two people in blue uniforms approached you and said 'You there- what's your ID?'." Amandeath asks as she thankfully slides her face out from her pillow, to where I can see her without glasses for the first time! Neat- she's still pretty!
Oh- but she's staring at me, she wants my response to that scenario! "If two humans in snazzy blue uniforms asked for my ID number? Hm... I swear we have discussed this before... hmmm... welp I can't remember. Whoops! But hm, I believe I would tell them, of course in my disguised monotone-robo-tone, that I'm Metallic! Isn't that what an ID stands for- a name?" I reply happily, I see that she's trying to see if I would be able to keep up my false appearance!
She stares at me with a disappointed look being on her face... oh dear- did she not like my response?
"Haaaah... so you still do need me to keep you in check. Just pack up your tools for tonight- I'll only sleep like seven hours so you can have more time to work tommorow. Night." She groans as she flips over in her bed.
"But pal I- the correct response was on the tip of my tongue! ...Wait wait I've got it- I was meant to say 'I am worker robot 12331'!" I exclaim as pal #3 stays quiet for a while...
"...So ya really did listen to us back then. That's cool... anyways. But if you were really talking to the Hopian Army there- one bad response is enough to screw us in the ass... so you're still staying in here. Remember you said that you'd listen to me now or whatever. So please just let me sleeeeep... wake me up in 5 hours or something." Amandeath groans with a yawn- she really does sound tired...
