A/N: Hey! I may be over exaggerating but this chapter has quite a bit of content in it, so if you don't understand something please feel free to ask and I'll try my best to answer!
Last chapter, Seric went to visit a bedridden Karia, but he only ended up getting turned away completely as she was in a depressed and angry state for whatever reason. He then returned to his table with Popshot to hopefully cheer up a bit, which he does. However, King Metallica accidentally makes Seric sad again, and so he decides to tell him the story about "The Five Kings".
The story started off with the creator of the world and his wife setting everything ablaze including themselves, but they had casted a spell beforehand that would resurrect the ashes of all that had perished. From their very own combined ashes, The Five Kings rose. The five men started off by fighting each other, but then realized that the fighting was pointless and that they should love each other. And so, with this they ended up creating a home in center of the earth, which turned out to be the almightly pillar, "Vega".
Seric's P.O.V.
"Wait what? I guess it is fiction after all..." I say with a small laugh, after all there's no way just five people could create that insanely big pillar I saw in the distance back at Magthera.
"Fiction? Fiction?! FICTION?!?! How dare you speak this, B.L.A.S.P.H.E.M.Y. . This story is nothing but the truth! Now keep that foolish, tiny, rude trap of yours shut before I shut it for you and listen up!" King Metallica scolds as he leans towards me, staring at me with his small black pupils surronded by a white material, almost falling forward off of his chair.
"Right..." I respond to get him off of my ass, but the fact that story is fake isn't going to change. Probably. I mean, Dahai did say Blessings are miraculous things... Ah my head hurts.
"So as I was saying... on the center point of the earth, The Five Kings created the almighty pillar, Vega! They were happy with their hard work and bonded through making it as well, and so they rested inside of it until they grew tired of looking at the same dark, ashy barren wasteland outside everyday. Having enough rest in their comfy abode, the brothers then stood atop of the green pillar, until suddenly they got an intense instinct. This instinct told them to raise all of their hands at once, and so they did. At this moment, a blinding light that was even visible from outer space shot out from the all of them! When they had opened their eyes... all around them was beautiful grass, with all sorts of animals roaming the lands. They had finally activated their parents spell!" King Metallica says with enthusiasm.
"Wait what, visible from outer space? Actually that's somewhat reasonable..." I think to myself.
"Now the brothers were truly happy, and so they lived in harmony with one another and nature, enjoying everything they had brought back to life. They even had the time to make clothes from the plants they had found, and enjoyed delicious green meals as well." King Metallica says as he blindly reaches his silver arm behind him, taking a handful of fries from the food vendor behind us and shoving it inside his mechanical mouth.
"That's nice I guess, it makes sense for them to be vegetarian." I respond.
"However... sadly, one day the brothers realized they were becoming weaker and weaker very quickly for no explainable reason. They soon realized that the cause was due to them being near each other. The Five Kings were very saddened by this at first, but soon after were forced to come to a conclusion to save their precious lives. They must separate themselves as far as possible, in order to slow down or hopefully stop this wretched curse. One would stay in the center living in Vega, one would go to the SouthEast, one to the SouthWest, one to NorthEast and one to the NorthWest." King Metallica says in a less upbeat tone.
