Last chapter, Seric and Karia continued through the trial, encountering a few traps along the way and arriving in a dome-shaped room in which there were two doors. One being white with blue stripes and the other being purely green. Karia decided that they should go through the blue and white door and so they did, and in that door they came across 2 paths where they each were forced to go separately. Seric's path then filled up with water and he is now being chased by a giant squid in a mysterious white boat, plus he must run over white triangles in the water to complete the trial according to the enthusiastic voice.
Seric's P.O.V.
"Alright, the first triangles coming up!"
I say to myself as I look off the side of the boat to position myself in order to hit it.
A few seconds later I run it over, luckily without the squids interference. Although now the squid seems to have picked up it's pace."Damn, so every time I hit one it gets more agitated. That'll be tough later on." I think to myself as I keep on driving at full speed, and I'll admit I'm having a bit of fun with the speed of this thing.
"Hey announcer, how many more of these things are there?" I think to myself to test his mind reading.
"..."
"Hel-"
"IN TOTAL, THERE'S TEN! NINE MORE TO GO BABY!" The announcer yells interrupting me.
I grit my teeth and curse to myself, and continue driving the boat through the water, surrounded by white crystal all around.

For the next 5 triangles, there isn't much trouble since the squid was still in pursuit of me, but even though it's speeding up every triangle it still isn't close to catching up to me. Plus the path is a wide straight line so I really don't need much skill.
"At this rate, I should be able to do this no problem." I say to boost my spirit.
Of course I have to say that, and suddenly the squid shoots a frozen piece of ink at me, just missing my head.
"HOLY SHIT!" I yell as I continue to drive the boat, now having to look off the side of the boat and behind me because of the projectile ink. I'm now losing my confidence as this just became much more dire and difficult
"OH, I FORGOT TO TELL YOU, LITTLE SQUIDDLY HERE GETS COOLER THE MORE HE GETS MAD!" The announcer says with enthusiasm on the "mad".
I see the next triangle in the distance, but this time it's across a wide crevice that cuts off the path, making two waterfalls on each side and with no way to go around.
"Hey, voice! What the hell am I supposed to do now?!" I ask mentally in a panicked tone.
I'm waiting for a response, barely dodging the squids frozen ink attacks by clumsily maneuvering the boat, getting cut a few times in the process until a note appears on the door to the control room in front of me held by a singular piece of tape.
It reads "Kick Me.". I was questioning how that would help in this situation, but considering I was about to fall to my death in a few seconds anyways, I run to the door, kicking it with a mediocre amount of strength since I didn't have much room to run nor time to prepare a stronger kick.
