Last chapter, the trio discussed the strange voice Seric talked to and how they must go to the frozen territory, Dalkan to complete the next trial. They then decided to go to the trading island of "Birzion" as they are done with the trails for now, in order to exchange the small amount of real loot they stole from Adesia's crew.
Seric's P.O.V.
"I'm never cleaning in my life again... Honestly, why did I even agree to that stupid competition in the first place..." I complain to myself one last time as I admire the now spotless junkroom which took a few hours to clean, and I can proudly call it a small "main lobby" now, being that it leads to each of the four new rooms and has a nice table and chair situated at the end of the small hall, with the wooden clock Karia and King Metallica were fighting for resting on top of it.
I then take a few steps forward and walk towards the entrance of my room which is the pure white door to the far left of the four, opening it and entering my small but cozy square shaped abode, with the blue sleeping bag I used the day I met Karia being situated in the left corner of my room, and the rest of it being filled with any junk or loot that I found cool. The rest of the stuff Karia and King Metallica took to their own new rooms.
"Come on pal, we've got places to waste and no time to be!" King Metallica says which makes me furrow my brow but I laugh off the error and ignore it, walking out of my room and out of the small hallway.
"Yeah, yeah, you're lucky I didn't make you help me clean up." I say in annoyance as I remember his forsaken lemon juice, and position myself around the long joystick and pull it backwards, causing the boat to move at a moderate pace towards the massive island.
Looking around the prior "junk room" in front of me, the island of "Birzion" is visible in the close distance, in which a long sandy shore is at the bare front of it, with a few people laying on towels and chairs resting on it as the sun is now shining again. Multiple skinny but long silver steel docks extend from the shore, with each one having boats lined up back to back on each side of them.
"Hey guys, aren't people gonna be suspicious about our boat? I mean, I don't think any boats come close to this color..." I ask with unease in regards to "My Best Friends" pure semi-neon white color.
"Eh, I mean most Hopians have seen a lot weirder than that, I doubt anyone is gonna actually do anything other than giving it a few weirded out looks." Karia responds in a carefree tone as she lays on a beach chair next to me with some shades, taking up a big chunk of the docks space. I shrug my shoulders as to convey "Whatever you say I guess.".
King Metallica on the other hand seems to be trying to do something with his body, as he's hitting his head and shaking his right arm repeatedly in front of us.
I continue to admire the architecture of the island as we come close to one of the docks, which are many brick buildings extending further inland, with all of them being on the sides of wide sandy roads which connect to the beach. The rooftops are even neater- being that they're on a slant in two directions making a 3D triangle, and the material they used to make them seem to be the same solar panels as my phone has by it's camera, just supersized.
"Alright, easy..." I say to myself as I pull into an open spot in one of the many docks, looking around the main lobby and slowing down to ensure I don't crash into the boat in front of us.
"Damn!" I curse as I accidentally bump into the back of the boat anyways, and so I pull the joystick back a bit to reverse "My Best Friend", and luckily no damage seems to have been done to either vessel.
"Hah, nice one Seric. Anyways, both of you guys grab a bag of the stuff we're gonna get checked out and trade, it's not really much anyways." Karia says as she takes off her shades and stands up, stretching out her arms.
