A/N: Yo! A heads up, to those who read last chapter like day 1, I spiced Seric's drawing up quite a bit. May want to check that out as I changed a lot of parts of it lol.

Last chapter, Seric looked at a picture of Prósopsi and the Commanders of the Hopian Army. He strangely saw a nude brown haired girl- unknowingly to him being Aphrodite who the others can't see whatsoever. After Metallic fixed Amandeath's sniper, with the "disguises" Marlox purchased for them on, the bounty hunting duo set off.

Amandeath's P.O.V.

"...Hm... hey, on a scale from one to one thousand, how much do you think pal #1 hates me right now? I... I was acting happy at the end for him but, my metallic heart still aches when I remember the way he looked at me. All I did was just try to get close to him- and then he looked at me like I was about to murder him!" Metallic says as me and him start walking down the cement stairs to our new hideout. Annnnd of course the cloudy dark sky is all above us now... oh right Metallic asked if Seric hates him.

"I dunno. Don't think now is the right time to think about that. But, I mean he was seeing hallucinations like that nude chick, so his minds playing aaaall sorts of games with him now. Him being scared of you back there could just be his head being screwed up from what happened, or from what is happening to us now I guess. Or maybe he does legit want you to burn in hell. Both are possible, but it's impossible to tell now..." I reply as I keep on chewing on a piece of my InfiGum... does he really care more about his relationships than his own life? Not like we're in the best situation here... then again, no people are around us right now either.

"Ah- but! Hm. I always think there is a way for things but, yes, maybe now isn't the time for that. On a more cheery note, I can't wait to get further into the city! I haven't been here in a year! We could buy a few sovinuers out there, or mayb-"

"Hey you're a slave bot now remember? They aren't typically that enthusiastic... guess I should, like, oh my God- hehe play my rich city girl part too! ...Gross. Never mind that makes me wanna throw up. I'll just stay the same and act like I'm a spoiled one with distant parents or something... haaaah, 'least part of that is true." I say with a slow laugh as me and Metallic reach the bottom of Marlox's houses stairs... actually nah it's too big for that, it's a mansion.

Glancing back at the thing right now actually, so yeah it's three stories tall, made completely of a sharp and scratchy brown stone material, and has a flat roof. Looks kinda advanced but, still a lot like the older buildings on the outskirts of the continent... definitely unique but not too suspicious I guess, I'll give Marlox that.

"Ah. You should know that I do not appreciate interruptions from human kind. But I suppose I indeed should play my part as your "slave": pa- my apologies, Madam. Would you like me to pour you a cup of water? Tea? I know of thirty eight kinds I could give to you." Metallic says, trying to sound more like a typical robot- which kinda works but... still weird. Meh. I can already start to see people walking by so it'll have to do... a homeless guy to be exact, gotta be careful with them.

"Least we're not in the outbacks of this place anymore, but it seems like the people from the shitty parts of the Continent are here now. Idiots, why did the Hopian Army make that law... now there's just gonna be even more crime around here. Haaaah... oh well... least it'll make us look less suspicious compared to them. I do dig the not-too-over-the-top amount of technology here, I guess." I think to myself as I keep on staring down at the lit up sidewalk beneath me, with a neon blue line dividing it in two. One half of the sidewalk has a bunch of wheel chairs painted on it, and the other has nothing... guess they're trying to be more "equitable". What a fucking joke considering the rest of this place...

Anyways, I slowly look up from the ground to see the area around us. Some decent houses, ya know not TOO much graffiti and all. They look pretty sleek too like Marlox's, guess this is kinda a richish place. Never even been here before surprisingly. But yeah, it's still dark like always but there's a few stores with huge ass neon signs that make the place look kinda pretty. ...Oh, and there's the lights and tracks engraved into the road next to us too that are meant to divide it for cars. But, yeah, only like half of the lights BARELY work anyways... not like any people drive here anymore though.
