A/N: Hey! Sorry for no notification about there being no update last week. Don't worry I'm not burnt out or anything, just really busy irl and all.
Anyways thanks to everyone who's supported me so far and those who continue to do so even through my weird schedule!
Last chapter, Amandeath woke up after falling unconscious for a few minutes on the street- with her injuries of course coming from her fight with "the hacker" beforehand. Regardless after painfully waking up once more, Amandeath walks over to the half-dead hacker, Elio, but decides to spare him and to instead let him work for the gang. He reluctantly agrees to do so in return for Amandeath healing him, and even goes as far as to, regrettably, save Amandeath from a police robot due to his views on human life...
A minute after Amandeath healed up Elio's hand...
Amandeath's P.O.V.
"...Well then. I guess we should go hide somewhere for now. Or... hmm... you're with us now so tell me. How many guys and gals are- or were in your gang in total? Were the one's I fought all you had?" I ask Elio as I crack my neck, man I'm feeling sleepy... Elio should still be too tired to escape too though, if he somehow does though I'll blast him.
"No, that wasn't all of them. There's still our leader and a few others back at base- agh what am I saying!" He says back to me... hmm, so I guess I'll let Metallic handle his "duel" with Restroid on his own then. Since yeah, I'm not in any shape to fight a ton of goons again, at least if they're guarding the area to stop anyone from interfering.
Plus my body's starting to feel real weird too... a combo of a headache and a stomachache- not like it bugs me much buuuut normally that stuff isn't a good sign, especially when ya live in a place like this.
Also, Elio looks pretty conflicted right now. He did mention how he hates Restroid's beliefs on killing a minute ago, but yeah I guess he's still attached to the gang either way... honestly don't know if he's gonna try and betray us anymore. Guess we'll have to see and keep a close eye on the guy... which I don't mind since, he is kinda good looking.
"...I know a place to hide around here. Come on, let's go." Elio says as he turns himself around, but groans as he tries to walk forward... guess he's still sore. Not surprised since I am too.
"Yeaaaah sorry no can do buddy, hostages- or quote on quote hostages don't normally lead the way. Follow me, I probably know these streets better than you." I interuppt him as I nod my head to the direction that's the opposite of where Elio's going.
"...Fine. How do I know YOUR not leading me into a trap though?" He says which stumps me for a bit... not even gonna answer that, but I'll give him a dumb face to show how dumb of a question that was. This guy obviously lived a sheltered life or something since man can he be dense... well for like the five minutes I've known him at least.

About 30 minutes earlier, close to the zone of Metallic and Restroid's priorly "upcoming" duel...
Metallic's P.O.V.
After parting ways with my so called "lookout" Amandeath, I've been walking down the oddly empty street of good old Corksaw Drive for a little while now. It sure is pleasant, the old lights that go ON-OFF-ON-OFF and all that around these more abandoned parts, they've always made me feel great on somber days. But alas, I don't have time to enjoy it fully, nor do I want to at this point.
"Right, right this'll be S.O. easy! Or... I sure hope so! I'll just walk up to my my ex-pal, maybe say a few quick words- or perhaps not, time is ticking after all. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... alright- if he chat's first only then will I chat, done! But right for the fight now-"
