Hopian 11 - The Rescue "Operation"

A/N: So, to help you guys better understand the story I decided to draw a very basic map of Hopian. As you can tell by my 11/10 map, Hopian is the powerhouse continent, and the ocean surrounding it and the islands that are in it are part of the Hopian Territory. Outside of Hopian Territory is unknown as of now, who knows what could be out there? Note that the people of Hopian are called Hopian, since it already ends in an. Also, Hopian along with the Hopian Territories is simply called "Hopian" which is why Seric and Karia aren't in the Hopian Continent but are still inside the Hopian Territory. Another note, Magthera, the Sailors bazaar, and the trial are in the Hopian Territory, I just didn't put them in the map.

Last chapter, Seric and Karia arrived at the Volcano island, Magthera. They then walked up a set of stairs that led them to the inside of the Volcano, in which a city that floats overtop of the lava lays. Karia led Seric to the building where a person could analyze peoples bodies, but a little girl is there instead who says a man named Dahai has been kidnapped.

Seric's P.O.V

"Yes! Some mean robots came and knocked him out, I tried to save him but I was too weak..." The little girl says in tears.

"Well, this sucks. I'm still not fully recovered but we also can't just wait around." Karia groans.

"Who is this guy anyways Karia?" I ask.

"The one we came here for." She replies.

"Oh. Well this does suck." I say.

The girl is still crying, and I'm feeling bad for her.

"Hey don't cry. Karia's super strong, I bet she'll save him in no time!"

"R-Really?" She says in between her sobs.

Karia then tries to say, "Well, I really don't know. I'm still weak fr-"

"Of course!" I say in her stead.

"Then please, hurry! I think they went that way!" The little girl says pointing to the right of us.

We then walk off, waving goodbye. The girl seems more hopeful now which is leaving me satisfied.

"You shouldn't of said that, Seric. Now if we can't save him she'll be even more devastated." Karia says coldly.

"Well I'm sorry that I couldn't leave a little kid crying with no hope. Besides it's not like you can't handle a few thugs right?" I say defending my actions.

"You promised her that we would save him, so you better take responsibility and help." She responds, emphasizing the you.

"Actually I think I'll sit this one out. It's not like you can afford to lose me anyways." I say, trying to sound smart.

"Well, if you don't want to help, I can always give you a nice, relaxing, lava bath." She replies sadistically.

"D-Damn it!" I think to myself, scared of fighting but also of being killed by Karia.

Me and Karia keep walking to the right, trying to see if we can find any clues until we hear some people talking.

"Hey, you see what happened earlier today?" One says.

"Huh? No, what happened?" The other replies.

"Some guy got beat up and dragged away by some bots in the middle of the street."
