Hopian 85 - We Need More Protection

Last chapter, Seric had a strange dream where he encountered Habram. He finally wakes up, though in utter shock and fear due to what he learned about the God and his plans. However the quartet starts to fall apart after the price from the doctor for saving them is revealed- an astounding 5,850,000 Herin. Metallic wants to attempt to pay off their debt with bounties, however Amandeath threatens to leave the group if they go through with this idea.

Seric's P.O.V.

"W.H.A.T.?! Take those words back right now missy! How dare you even- even consider leaving us at this moment in time- no at all! We've been through thick and thin, life and death, and you want to just go ahead and scadaddle on us after we spared your life and took you into our loving arms?!" Metallic screams furiously at Amandeath though he can still only manage to lean forward on his chair a tiny bit. For now at least, I'm more concerned about his rage than Habram... I-I think...?

"Fucking calm yourself, my head... and I don't care. Ya, I like you all, but my life is way more important than yours in my eyes. And I didn't say I would deeeefinitely leave... only if you go through with that stupid bounty idea to be "kind" to this guy. You know... kindness kinda get's people killed. Especially when it comes to catching criminals... like us now, whaddya know." Amandeath replies back to him with a groan as she scratches the side of her face with her unarmed arm. This causes Metallic to open and close his mouth a few times, he looks like he's contemplating something...

"W-what she said is true... Metallic should calm down now. Anyways... i-if we do go through with that, I-I won't be able to do shit! I can tell, I'll be way too nervous to fight or even travel around now... plus if we kill anyone now, they'll- they'll go to hell!" I think to myself in panic as I continue to stare down at the brown carpeted floor beneath me, with even more flames pouring through my fingertips now.

"So if I was involved in that I... I can't, couldn't. But... I am handling this relatively well at least- I-I think? Like, I know I'm- terrified and all, and I'm still too scared to talk but... I could be having a more horrible reaction... maybe I'm just kind of shell shocked. Or maybe glad that a being like Habram exists at all... or maybe God's powers are just lowering my stress..." I finish... I don't know if my theories are true... I'm scared.

"...I have come to a snazzy conclusion to your reply Amandeath! Ok! Anyways, come on pal how about you rethink the whole bounty thing for us? Hm... how about we give you something in return for your guidance on our bounty hunting! ...Ah! IIII know what you want, that S.U.P.E.R. high tech gun of yours fixed. I'll tell ya, a year or two back while I was still with the Red Fists- out of anyone in the entire hideout, I was the greatest repairman- or bot!" Metallic tells her enthusiastically as he awkwardly leans his back on his chair.

"Hold up, Red Fists? No way- you were with them? I mean, she didn't wanna tell me buuuut... considering the name of that spirit she has aren't you pissed that she killed Ko-"

"HEY!!!" I manage to cry out before she can screw Karia over. Why do I even care about her anymore anyways? She's the one who screwed ME over! If she didn't recklessly go after Diosa... this all... damn it. No...

"Whoa whoa hello there- what's up pal #1? Ya ready to talk now?!" Metallic asks as he creakily and very slowly tilts his head down so he's looking down at my face with his hopeful own.
