Last chapter, the gang continued to stay at Abigail's shop with nothing noteworthy occurring except for the news of The Four Holidays having a meeting. However, Karia and King Metallica soon broke that peace and got into a debate about the "justice" of the Hopian Army which spiraled out of control, until Seric brings it to a conclusion by outrageously summoning his ship in the middle of the Effete Trading Shop.

Seric's P.O.V.

"Holy shit!" Karia swears as she just manages to jump out of the way from my ship towards the unscathed sidewall of the shop.

"Just what- AHHHHHHHHHHHAHA, MY PRECIOUS HOME, it's... over..." Abigail's mother yells as she runs out from the red door behind the counter, passing out soon afterwards and almost collapsing face first onto the floor until Abigail luckily catches her with all of her might, which still only allows her to gently lower Tanse to the floor.

"My God, that was a tad bit overboard don't you think, why the hell did you do that for Seric?!" Karia shouts as she pants heavily, which I'm assuming is due to the intense emotions of the argument and what I did myself.

"What?! If I hadn't of done that, then King Metallica would have-" I respond which makes me think of said robot, and looking over to his direction on the other side of the room in shambles, luckily he seems to have calmed down and is simply staring down at the floor.

"You guys... we... we worked so hard for this amazing place..." Abigail says in a serious tone as she stands back up, her hair covering her eyes as I realize she knows I'm the cause of the damage.

"Abigail, I'm- we're so sorry!" I yell out in panic, as I may have just gotten us into a giant pile of debt. And hurt Abigail's feelings, of course.

Karia scoffs, "We're? That was-"

"I don't care! You three, just go already! My mom's passed out, and my dad's at work, just... all I ask is that you take him down! I'll blame the damage on Virile because you're my new friends, so... so please, just let this town go back to the beautiful place it used to be! Avenge all the women he and his foul followers have abused, the innocent men he's killed... just... please, end this reign of terror! " Abigail shouts as she closes her eyes and tears start to pour from her eyes once again. I would like to think she closed her eyes in an attempt to stop the tears from flowing.

"...Yeah! We'll take him down, I promise you!" I respond without thinking of the consequences, as although she's crying once again, I can definitely see her resolve for being able to brush off something she loves personally for the sake of an entire island. Also- of course I can't afford to pay for the damages.

"I'll be in the storage room with my kittie- cats, so I'll be waiting for you to knock on this door, with one of you as the new mayor of this town!" Abigail says with a last sniffle, until she walks off into said room and slams the door. On another note I really hope the cats were already in there before I summoned my ship... Shit.

"I'm... I'm truly, 100% sorry pal #2. I even taught you two that pals should never fight, and I tossed that lesson right into the steaming trash just now- I was even about to acuse you of something absolutely atrocious, that I know someone kind like you would never do..." King Metallica says in a calm tone as he continues to hang his head low- and I'll admit that last bit definitely hurt my heart.

"...Don't worry about it, I'm sorry for... for..." Karia tries to say, until she stutters and turns away, seeming like she's unable to finish her sentence.

I close my eyes and cringe, due to knowing how much guilt she's probably feeling right now.

"You two, you were both right in my opinion. Like King Metallica said, Kodan really was trying to make the world a better place by only killing members of criminal gangs and evil government institutions. But at the same time, even if it was only in self-defense, he still killed a bunch of members of the Hopian Army who could have really wanted to make the world a better place as well. So, as he took the lives of others, I'm sure he was ready to give up his own as well. In the end- I think we can just blame this on the government not supplying the army with enough necessities." I say surprisingly intelligently and with some honesty to help break the silence- as to be honest, although both of them have good points, I myself am definitely more on Karia's side for this one.
