Last chapter, Seric discovered that Karia expectedly still despises him even after helping her, and so he cautiously went to talk to the new crewmember, Amandeath. He discovered more about her past life, and her Blessing which practically allows her to make anything she touches have zero recoil, or more specifically zero reaction forces as they get turned into action forces.

A few days after the fight with Amandeath, still on the outskirts of the Hopian Continent...

Seric's P.O.V.

"Alrighty then! Is that everything we need to T.H.R.I.V.E. pals?" King Metallica asks with enthusiasm as he stands on our white docked ship while rubbing his hands together frantically causing them to turn a bit red.

"Yeeeeep. Got my stuff already, which isn't much..." Amandeath says lazily as she walks towards the edge of our boat and chews on a piece of gum and slowly pats her right pink and white checked pajama pant pocket. Over the past few days, King Metallica continued to take care of her, and with the medical pads and good rest her injuries have completely healed.

"Yeah." Karia says in a more depressed tone than Amandeath as she walks out of the living quarters wearing her jean jacket vest and pink and green inked arms. She still looks quite tired- but with her wounds having completely recovered due to those medical pads King Metallica bought, as well as her only having one truly "bad" injury from Amandeath's gunshot which luckily only tore through the edge of her arm.

"Yeah I'm good I think. Should I just leave the boat here still, or?" I ask as I stand up from one of the seats on deck, with me having been ready for a while now. Course we can always re-summon the boat when we need to, so I'm not too panicked about it.

But, I am thrilled to be able to finally move out of this dark and sketchy alleyway, as we've had the boat docked here awkwardly because of Karia and Amandeath needing to rest for days now... quite a few bandits came to visit us to say the least.

"..." No one responds to me, and they instead jump off of the ship and onto the pavement just below us.

"Wow thanks." I mutter.

"So, pal #3, I've been on watch so I haven't got the time to chat with ya yet! Where're you from?" King Metallica asks as we walk beside each other, with Karia being as far away as possible from me of course- but Amandeath as well.

"I dunno, here I guess... there's not really any sections to the Hopian Continent or whatever..." Amandeath says as she continues to walk and stare straight ahead while King Metallica looks at her blankly.

"O.K., not wrong I suppose! Then... hm... I know, what was your life like as a P.U.N.Y. child, the same as all the other meatbags 'round here? Or were you something special?!" King Metallica asks as he points his right index finger by me towards Amandeath, and his other arm straight above us towards one of the massive secured see through tubes that are transporting countless overweight citizens on chairs.

"...Hah... special... yeaaaaaah, guess you could say that. I was born into a family of bounty hunters, why I've got the "death" in my name, runs in the family... my dad wanted a boy for his first kid, but he got me. Soooooo, he gave me a fat middle finger with my name's prefix..." Amandeath explains which interests me, but confuses me for a bit at the same time.

Karia snickers as we exit the alleyway onto a slightly less dark empty cracked street surrounded by neon inked spray painted buildings... I can't help but snicker for a second as well when I realize the meaning behind her name.

"You laughing at my name? You're lucky my sniper hasn't been fixed yet... or..." Amandeath starts to say, but stops herself mid sentence as King Metallica gives her an intimidating glare and I quickly take a few steps back towards the alleyway.
