"Don't move!" One of them yells.
"Why would you betray us like this, Karia?!" Another one of them says angrily, sounding disoriented.
"Sorry guys, you really were my friends, but what I'm planning on doing now is much more important to me." She then moves both of her arms down and closes her eyes and says with little enthusiasm,
"Spirit of Kodan:... Shower of Strikes."
"Shoot them!" A guard screams but it's too late, as they begin to be annihilated by a shower of the same strikes that were used to break the steel door down from above.
After the 10 second barrage, she's panting heavily. "Damn, that used up a lot of my energy, I can't afford to use many more of my abilities or I'll pass out."
"That should be most of the guards anyways, considering how many were here..." I say nonchalantly, stunned by her power to defeat hundreds of trained soldiers in a matter of seconds, as well as completely destroying the floor of the huge Cafeteria.
"Let's hope so, alright I think I'm ready to run again, get ready." she says as she starts to run towards the exit of the cafeteria, passing by the many bodies on the floor.
I'm feeling guilty, but it doesn't take over me since most of them seem to be alive at least. I'm also noticing that this time the woman is running at a pace a normal human could actually achieve.
We arrive at the door leading out of the cafeteria, and since it isn't locked this time so the woman runs into it and pushes it open, but the second she does my eyes are blinded by an intense light.
"Karia... it truly is a shame that you betrayed us. You were a strong Hopian Officer." A voice speaks.
It turns out that the door lead us outside of the building, in which the sky is blue, and the land around the prison is completely made up of smooth, flat gray stone as far as the eye can see, and a person who I assume spoke a moment ago being a tall, intimidating woman with short silver hair is standing a few metres in front of us. She also seems to have a strange eye color. It's a mixture of dark blue and purple, which reminds me of a galaxy in outer space. The woman is wearing a cloak that looks similar to the one Karia wore before, but with different decals.
"Shit! Why the hell are you here, Commander?!" Karia yells, seeming scared. If she's scared, then I think I sure as hell should be too.
"Don't you dare call me that again, traitor."
The "Commander" says with a disgusted face, standing completely still and somehow, I hear the sound of some sort of impact and at that moment, Karia slides backwards, still standing but holding her stomach in pain.
"Oh? You're tougher than I thought you were. I thought that would of knocked you unconscious." The silver-haired woman mocks.
"Spirit of *cough* Bersia: Escape Route." Karia murmurs weakly as she points her index finger in a random direction.
"Do you really think I'm going to let you escape that easily? Fool." The silver haired woman then proceeds to charge at us at speeds even faster than Karia's, ripping off her cloak in the process. She then sticks out her hand and seems to be trying to stab Karia in the head with her hand alone.
She's inches away from Karia's head, and on reflex I put my hand in front of her face, which takes the hit instead.
"Damn!" The silver-haired woman shouts as she leans in to deal a finishing punch to Karia's gut, but just in time me and Karia are surrounded by a strange purple flash of light.
After a few seconds I look around and see that we're no longer on the stone surface, but we were next to it in a boat on the semi-wavy ocean. I didn't realize it when I was on it but the stone island isn't just an island.
It's a ginormous, smooth cylindrical rock that was probably a few hundred metres tall and wide. I can't even see around the entire thing.
"That was batshit insane, we barely even made it!" I think to myself in a panicked state.
I then bring myself back to reality and look down at Karia who's laying on the boat.
"Karia!" I yell worryingly as I run up to her. Shes laying down with her eyes closed, unmoving.
"She took a hard hit back there and used another ability as well. That wouldn't be enough to kill her, would it?" I think worryingly to myself.
"Well then I guess I should make sure... Oh! I can just check her pulse." I then crouch down and put my index and middle finger on her neck.
I feel a pulse and sigh in relief.
"Wait, didn't that girl stab my hand?" I think to myself.
I look at my hand and I saw no wound whatsoever. I'm shocked and I assume that getting my hand stabbed was some sort of illusion power of the sort.
I then start to look around the boat to see if there were any instructions on how to get it to work.
Meanwhile at Vegahold Prison:
"Karia... you won't get away with this." The silver-haired "Commander" says clenching her fists as she looks upon the hundreds of injured soldiers lying on the destroyed floor of the cafeteria.
"Commander... why... would she do this..." an injured man weakly says on the floor to the silver-haired woman.
"I don't know, but she will be punished. Rest here until the medics arrive."
